What about Mind Flayer/Telepath/Illithid Savant/Epic Illithid Savant//Wizard/Whateverthefuck, eat nummy brains like phaerimm and solars etc.

Maybe not the flavor you are going for, but it's my first attempt at throwing together a true epic character so be nice.  :bigeye We always start at level 1.  :(

Illithid Savant is an excellent way of getting the DM to smite you though. Yes, I know it is level 30, but I would still steer away from it.
