Sorry to hear that life is taking it to you right now jace. I really hope something positIve happens for you soon.

Happy b-day tarot!

Personally I'm in shreveport, about 4 hrs from home, because my fiancee's grandfather had a stroke that caused a brain bleed. Things aren't looking good for him, but all we can do is sit and wait. I'm just focusing on keeping her calm since stress at 6 months pregnant isn't good.

Ugh... Teri & I had to put her ferret to sleep on Thursday morning due to advancing cancer. :( no fun.

I've been gaming with my old Artifact game group. We're playing Hackmaster Basic, which... is actually pretty badass. The battle system is more dynamic, and the downtime per character is low... but when the downtime happens it's bad.

I've been developing the Modern portion of the Artifact during this time-- looks like I'm going to be running it for you AND my tabletop group. They are reprising the same character's that they played in the original artifact. Plus we've added two players for a set of 6 people 1 GM.

INstead of picking it up where we had left off-- I am going to start from the Start of the Main game once again. My revised versions rarely resemble the original campaigns as they had been anyway.

The Party build looks possibly like:

Captain
Pilot/Helmsman
Engineer
Surgeon
Ship "Security"
Historical Expert

Also, I have found the Map of the Modified Fishing Trawler and I am updating it some. Some WHEN I come back online on a regular basis, you will have stuff to look forward to.

A mix of good and bad news, but at least progress is being made!

Sounds like I'll have to take finishing up my character off of the backburner, heh.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I didn't want to get eaten by a sloth anyway.  :P

edit: Do we have an ETA on the main campaign starting? Obviously Nan needs to finish up his as well as anyone else who isn't done.

We will have to return to the old campaign, obviously; it's like in the movies, where in the beginning flashback you stop mid action scene, go to the present day, come back just before the end of the film or some shit, y'know. Right?  :bigeye

even if we don't play through it i would like at least a narrative that explains how it ties in and give us some sort of resolution on it.

An FYI, I'm going to be out of the country from the 9th until the 16th.  My dad is getting married in South African and I'm his best man.  I probably won't have internet access, just in case we pick back up soon.
