Q 154: Does the feat "Cloudy Conjuration" offer a -2 penalty to the targets save to the spell I cast? Or would the spell I cast in the next round be resisted with -2 to the saves? Or neither and I would have to cast a quickened spell in between, or whatever?
bump
Not sure what you're asking here.  Safe targets are guys with immunities or what?
Sorry, misspelled. Ok, to clarify: The text says, that the cloud appears in conjunction with the spell taking effect (not before or after). And it lasts for 1 round.

The creature inside the cloud is sickened while inside it, which imposes a -2 penalty to saves, damage, etc.

a) So would the -2 penalty be applied to the spell I just did cast?
b) Or would the spell 1 round later which I would cast at that same spot be resisted with the -2 penalty to the save?
c) OR is the timing of the cloud so bad, that it affects neither of both saves and only if I would cast a quickened spell after my first spell into the cloud, it would give the -2 penalty?

It's all about this "(not before or after)".
I hope I could make my problem understandable.

A154: The cloud appears at the same time as your conjuration. Adjudicate all effects for the spell as though the cloud were not appearing, and adjudicate all effects of the cloud as though that were the sole effect of your casting - they occur independently. A creature in the cloud does not have Concealment against the spell that creates the cloud, and the creature is not yet sickened. The cloud then dissipates just before your next turn begins. For you to take advantage of the cloud, yes you would generally need to use a Quickened or otherwise Swift action spell to be able to cast during that window. Each of your allies gets a whack, though (unless/until the target moves out of the cloud, ending the condition - time your casting accordingly). A special note for summoned creatures (or other spells with a casting time of 1 round): they appear just before the start of your turn, so the cloud lasts from then until just before your next turn, allowing you to benefit from the target's Sickened condition.

Question 222

So I'm attempting to build a flying car for my campaign setting and right now the price looks manageable, but I have a concerned question. Is everything okay and legit with applying the fly spell to a coach/carriage?

And if so what are the limits for applying the spell to a larger vehicle/vessel?

A 222: Fly targets a creature, so unless your car is a creature it is not a legitimate target for the spell. You could craft a slotless Ring of Flying, but then the carrying capacity would be based off the pilot's Strength, which might be less than ideal. Eberron Explorer's Handbook has Elemental Vessels, which are airships with an air elemental bound into the structure of the ship. I think I remember seeing a flying carpet around here somewhere, too. Either of those should provide a reasonable base for costing a flying car, based on speed, maneuverability, and carrying capacity.

Q232: I remember something about martial stances counting as maneuvers. Does this mean you can choose a new stance instead of maneuver? Or is that just for fulfilling prereqs?

IIRC, tome of battle is self-contradictory on the matter.  In some places it says that stances are a special kind of manuever, in others it says they aren't manuevers, but sometimes can qualify as them for prereqs.

I'm sorry, but i've never really gotten an answer, anybody?

Q234

Is there any magic items/spells/powers/whatnot that would make a magical lute play itself. If not what would the price be a constant lyre of building effect for making the stronghold immune to damage?

Q235

A 3 part question regarding Sneak Attack and the Master Thrower's abilities.

- Does Sneak Attack damage apply to only one of my attacks or every attack I make in my turn? (assuming the enemy remains flanked or his dex bonus remains lost for whatever reason)
- MT's Sneaky Throw removes an enemy's dex bonus before throwing a weapon. Can I apply Sneak Attack damage to my throw even though it is a ranged attack?
- MT's Palmed Throw allows me to throw two weapons with one hand in the same action. Can I use Sneaky Throw in conjunction with this to have two attacks dealing Sneak Attack damage?

Thanks

1. All attacks that qualify get sneak attack damage as normal.
2. yes
2. No, because there is only one attack roll.

In regards to question 3, the description specifies that damage is resolved separately. Does that not mean that sneak attack bonusues for the weapons is calculated separately?

Typically, if you make multiple attacks with one attack roll, sneak attack (and any other bonus damage expressed in dice) is only applied once.  I suppose it's possible that this ability is an exception, but I doubt it.

Realize that this might not really belong here, but w/e.

I'm going to play Caelics Bear of the North build soon. But seeing as how the DM allows flaws I won't need any fighter levels and I was wondering if anyone had any nice suggestions on what to replace them with?

I've had my share too, did you look for a Duskblade handbook? Most certainly there  you should find spells.

An easy way would be using a similacrum...

Q237 A necromancer casts Animate Dead on the skeleton of an Old dragon.  Then he casts Awaken Undead (from the spell compendium) on it, which (among other things) restores "extraordinary attacks."  Does the dragon regain its sorcerer casting?

No, spellcasting is not normally an Ex ability.

That is actually arguable, there have been long debates on these forums about that topic.  There are strong arguments that spellcasting is an ex ability by default.
The answer to the question is still no though, due to the undead having a charisma score of 1 which awaken undead does not change.

1. Where does it say that the undead dragon has charisma 1?  It doesn't say that on the SRD description of the type, or in the Skeletal Dragon template (quite the opposite, in fact), or anywhere else I can find...
2. Does that mean that all the dragon needs to do to become a sorcerer is raise its charisma with a few items/spells?

*nods* the reason I say no, is because there are some monsters out there that have spellcasting that specifically list it as an Ex ability, whereas most don't list anything.
