I thought I was talking to nature...not just plants.

More than 15 miles down.  :bigeye

If it was possible to do so then you could, but only plants are talking back to you.

15 miles is 79,200 feet. Yeah, you're not that high up. Just 80 feet.

You get a sense that anything not in the area you're all currently in, isn't real. When you try talking to it, it doesn't actually register you. You can manage a few whispers here and there, but you have to really concentrate to hear them.

If no one's got any problems with it, Roryn would like to go change out of his armor and into something a little more suited for the upcoming fight. He's got his own little mini armory in his room, and won't need help to fly anymore.

If a certain person happens to go inside to see what everyone's doing now, they can tell the dwarf that there's nothing up there anymore.

Either way, all the characters will hear some very loud dwarven cursing. If anyone asks, he tells them that his spare waraxe, his distant shot force crossbow, and his Armor of the Celestial Battalion are all missing. While what he's got is not shabby by any means, but he's a little more of a burden now than he wanted to be to everyone.

Quite an interesting reply, I will keep the two communes. I shall try and word three questions as the first commune should be 'wasted' on learning about the above fact.
You liked that reply did you? I'll admit that I was very surprised when I read up on this stuff and knew it had to be in this campaign. It just made sense to me. You can imagine how rare that is for one such as myself.

You could only come up with two right now, but if you come up with a third, just PM me and I'll give you an answer. When you guys spoke with the plants before, they were basic questions. You could always re-word one of them for a more definite answer that you may not have thought of before.

Knowledge (Nature) check except you're going to learn some Lore instead of basic info.

Don't mind my last post guys. Had to take over Sohala's character for two seconds so let you guys know the process of how things worked out, and what the rolls all did for Sohala.

Lets see the dire bat can fly for 40 ft as its speed and round is  4 seconds X  46 rounds not that long

but will cover if it is 40ft a round about 1840 ft to bad i can not find a over land movement chart for flying creatures.

Not too bad, but you might want to have a back up plan just in case time runs out.

to bad cloak of the bat has that rule of flying in either general flight or bat form of 7 minutes at a time, but after a flight of any duration the cloak cannot bestow any flying power for a like period of time.

After everyone's ready to fly out into the bold new world, let me know what spells you still have on. It's been a few minutes so some may have worn off, and I'd like to keep track of what's still on, and for how long.

It rarely is.

Speaking of things not sounding very appealing, just to let everyone know, this Thursday I'll be talking to the guy who developed the original Monty Hall campaign six years ago, and created the template the campaigns have to follow. I'll be meeting him to discuss the final preparations for the gaming convention in a couple of months, and the finalization of the rules set of what'll be allowed, etc, for this Saturday. The unappealing part is all the paperwork I've gotta do good copies on between Thursday night after the meeting, and Saturday morning when it has to be presented to my peers. Than on April 1st I have to send in the finalized copy of what the campaign will entail, the setting, the background, the story, etc. :rollseyes

Hey guys....
I am on a break from the army because I had to go to the hospital to run some tests....
I was reading the IC thread.....
I just wanted to say that Alenatorion only hates evil dragons.....
He is friendly with good dragons in fact his best friend is a good dragon...

Of course if you want to change his story and his motives because it better suits you then by all means go ahead....

I was thinking more because he knows that there's another dragon out there, and doesn't know what it looks like, it'd be nice to not get the two confused, should the two ever meet.
