That's what confused me. Dez was the one with "down" beside her name, and it wasn't corrected. Now I know what's going on.

Fair enough. Wish you much luck out there. It's a tough world in the military right now.

@ VennDygrem -- If you did, I'd adjust the CR of everything, and minimize the encounters. I'll be doing that when betrayor goes.

As much as I hate to not get the chance to try out some of Dez and Rezzik's real tricks, I think it would be best. This game has done nothing but bring out the worst in my personality, and I don't want that to be my contribution. Not sure if you simply want to kill my characters off or retcon them out, though I'd hate for them to simply go down like punks. >_>

We can discuss this further in PMs, but basically you'd be NPCed, and doing recon.

I can't say this has brought the best out in me either.

@ Mixster -- No, it just means that you'll escape it in a way you didn't figure you would (or maybe you did). As you try to use the teleportation spell, like Melkior, you get sucked into the vortex that he did, and taken to the dome. It's not where you wanted to be, but it's where you ended up.

I really hope that this vortex doesn't cover the whole island. Dim. Door is one of my few tricks, and if I get sent back to the dome every time I try to use it, that is going to cause me trouble.

I planned on it once we were able to quit fighting for a few minutes. It is one of those things that is just a huge

to my character who was built around using the Dim. Door ability.

Well he is an ubercharger....
It is only one of the few ways that a non caster can stay relevant this late in the game....
Even then the only thing I can do is damage,and I am really easily stopped(like with the Fog earlier)......

Yeah, solid fog would have been even worse against you. But that's something that you'd likely worry about more if this was a full scale game. Even then, just need Freedom of Movement, and you're golden. At least you're not a frenzied berserker in the fog, surrounded by shadowy shapes. You'd just attack.

I'm ready to start things up again if everyone else is. Des and Rez will be NPCed for the time being, until such time that that the fight's over.

I'll recommend to everyone to let the demons go, but I won't make you. The roars are coming closer, and those who'd made their spot check saw the General and Lt. Commander's show recognition of at least one of them, and are moving towards that direction.
