Sure I could go ahead, but I am not as stealthy as the other kobolts for I have chosen a more civilised profession than thievery. I could of course try. Let me first craft a small tripwire, so you can have advantage over the orcs when they show up.

Trap set, the kobold slips ahead through the trees, his small size compensating in some ways for his less-than-silent progress. Tucked behind a tree, a quick glance into the camp shows at least three orcs in view, including the badly wounded one from their prior encounter. That orc is shouting and yelling, pointing back through the trees in the general direction of Shaedof and Roy. The others grumble and argue with him, including once even smacking him, but finally begin to tread ahead, heading down the path towards Shaedof.

Quickly and silently Shaedof runs back to inform his teammembers and to take up strategic positions behind the tripwire. He waits until the orcs are within 60feet to use his mind fucking ability.

Roy holds his club in his shield hand and draws a throwing knife and holds it ready to hit the first, preferably injured, orc to get within fifteen feet.

The orcs stomp through the trees, making no attempt at stealth, the wounded now in the back, sulking and growling. Shaedof skitters through the woods ahead of them, making his way back past the tripwire without being caught.

Turning and shouting, the lead orc gestures to the left and the right, and the orcs begin disappearing into the brush and digging themselves in, clearly building an ambush for the enemies they expect to follow the trail.

Guthfrith stands his razorblade drawn, ready to try again at subduing an Orc.

Roy sheathes his knife and grips his club in both hands. With a howl of fury he rushes at the nearest Orc, aiming to crush him in a single blow.

Shaedof sits behind his tripwire and yells:
Weaklings! You have already been spotted! You are a disgrace to all the orcs that still live on this planet! Show yourselves and fight like the brutal warriors you claim to be!

Having said it, Shaedof readies to use Grasp the Lifeblood (=Mindfuck ) on two orcs as they come into range.

[spoiler] If I see Roy charging in and the orcs are still out of my 60ft reach, I run into reach of my mindfuck and use it on the nearest orcs.

[Stratovarius]

The orcs turn, roaring and shouting at the kobold, and charge through the underbrush, snapping branches and crushing plants beneath their feet. They are quick to rush, and are almost upon the heroes before they react. The first of the orcs leaps towards Roy and Shaedof, only to be caught by the tripwire and slam to the ground a few feet in front of the two heroes. The other orc vaults the wire, his longsword swinging for Roy, catching him across the arm, leaving a red gash.

Vorgon shouts "The Flonha? Yes - but not today, today I have the knowledge of the Wide Shallow Sea. Witness, the Hegwyd are not forgotten!" A bolt of magical energy flies from his hand, blasting the first of the slower orcs. It is a perfect strike, and the orc bursts into flames, falling to the ground.

Guthfrith draws the energy from within himself, tossing it at the nearest orc. His aim once again slips awry, and his energy and lifeforce is wasted.

Shaedof waits till they are in range, then unleashes his mental assault upon the poor creatures. The two nearest orcs crumble beneath his mental assault, their bodies riven and stiff.

Roy, his timing thrown off, swings his club, crushing the orc in front of him in a bloody spray. Paralyzed and helpless, it was an easy kill.

The last of the orcs, wounded from the battle before, sees the actions of the party and turns and flees, his steps once more carrying him further into the forest, leaving his one living comrade paralyzed in the grasp of the small kobold.

14 Orc - Falchion. Tripped. 1d20=8

9 Straw: Attack: 1d20-1=12. Damage: 2d6=12
8 Ejo Attack: 3. Total Fail
7 Mini. Saving throws against: 1d20-2=12, 1d20-2=8. Orc #1 and #2 paralyzed.
6 Orc - Morningstar / Shield (+2) - Killed by Vorgon/Straw.
5 Orc - Falchion
Roy - Attack and damage (1d20+5, 1d8+9=[16, 5], [6, 9]). Orc #2 splattered.

Shaedof sees one orc trying to flee, and does nothing about it
Oh no you're not leaving your friends here to get backup! Fall down and bow for my might!

Shaedof tries to brainlock the orc who lies on the ground 10 feet before him.

Furthermore, whether he succeeds or fails, he mindfucks two other orcs.

[spoiler]Out of range, and you'd lose concentration on your current one. Remember, running is 4x normal speed, which is 120 feet for Mr Orc.[/spoiler]

Shaedof, must you be the one to slay this orc, if you wish to gain his strength? If not, I know of an ancient technique that will allow me to drain some of his life force to repair my broken body that I would surely like to use.

Shaedof Laugh loudly; There are plenty of orcs to go around! You take one, and I'll take a second one

[Stratovarius]

Roy's weapon crashes into the Orc, killing it easily and taking its lifeforce for himself. Feeling refreshed and strengthened by the experience, he follows the fleeing Orc easily, moving down the path that it has left. Shaedof and the others follow, spread out slightly amongst the trees.

An arrow thuds into the ground at Roy's feet, and ducking to the side and looking up into the trees, he sees and hears an orc sentry, for the sentry is standing and shouting, his voice echoing loudly amidst the woods.
