I actually think a deep dragon is rather quick on his legs... but I have to look that up again, I might be wrong. At least you can't assume that a paranoid dragon absolutely will follow you. Some research into the matter would be appropriate.

Even though I usually say that there is no gentleman's agreement (because that would mean I have to play nice :))... you do understand that any cheesy tactics you use I can use, too. So use these things with self-restraint...

Oh, wasn't looking to use them on bosses, more on buildings and such, aka piss them off.

I'm on my honeymoon for a couple days and come back to explosive rune bombs and a dragon attack? Glad I'm on the surface!

I'm sorry, I'm forgetting things already: Who got XP so far for the underground events? I think I gave some to MARC, but I don't remember.

By the way I have to apologize a bit to raith0: Sometimes it's hard to find the right tone to adress other characters, because you can't see them. This is made somewhat harder if you are not reminded constantly of what they look like. I've been treating Doyle too much like a freak, and too little like a very charismatic freak. (And no, I don't equate this to being pretty.) This may be excusable by the circumstances under which my NPCs made contact with them (jaded town guards, Devanar just recovering from being tortured), but still. Now I see you are trying to improve the way people see you, so I'm going to try to improve my reactions.

I'm just saying this because I looked again at the public sheets now that McPoyo posted one.

Thanks BP im playing him that hes always been a freak but also found ways to use that to his advantage.  partly i am doing this because i plan on taking Leadership with my next feat, and partly because it seemed to fit the way the character came together.

I will write up a scene request when the time comes so i can roleplay the "calling" or how ever you want to put it of a cohort.

It never made sense to me that Charisma always ment you were attractive as well.  so i tend to play it differently by characters that have high Charisma but arent attractive by the normal sense.  (now if we were to be confronted by a group of orcs i think he would be more attractive to them but thats a different situation)

You mean your attack on the dragon/drow sisters, or the attack on the demon base?

Whatever, you have to figure these things out. There is no plan of action I have laid out for you. I'm just trying to let everything make sense, more or less.

Now if you agree ooc that you want to do something, we can also skip all the IC discussion part via the scene mechanism - we just don't play it, but it's taken place at some time in the background. Even though I'd love an IC discussion, I'm obviously not playing, you are. Devanar will go anywhere that seems to further the goals of finding the cause for the events, and Cat will go anywhere Daelric goes.

The attack on the drow/dragon will most likely have to happen in the form of raids instead of an all out attack, which will probably extend far past the large assault being planned on the demons.

Of course, I was just laying out another option as the idea struck me, as I didn't know if anyone had a preference on which arc we go on with.

I am going to try and RP it, just it seems to be taking awhile.

While I realize it breaks the flow, and may not be entirely accurate, the phrase "fleshy man-wrists" made me giggle in a training meeting this morning too much not to use.

I am in need of a direction, would we like to meta and go with the most likely choice for solving the problem?

I admit I am in need as well.  Part of my lag in posting is a bit of writer's block around my character and how this group is supposed to plausibly gel.

Well we need to fully introduce ourselves, which I will start shortly. As luck would have it, the next two group members should be joining us shortly, saving us some time.

This is a problem. As it is, the characters are very diverse, and should have differing interests and motivations. The only thing we can do here is find some rationalisation why it's good to hang out with these other guys for now. Or not think about it too much.

The MARC, for instance, has no more allegiances from his old life. He has to find something new to do. It makes sense to hang with those new guys until you find someone else - which hopefully won't happen in the context of the game. Even for the others, individual motivations shouldn't make compromising to stay within a group impossible. After all, it's a dangerous world out there. A loner faces all sorts of problems.

I'm just feeling like Marc is some kind of lost puppy right now and am unclear on what our purpose is.
