I'm not sure how definitive my return will be - if I end having to disappear for another long period of time it might be better to close down my thread. It doesn't help that I don't frequent BG at all anymore. :/

Hope you're all having a nice summer. :)

Why don't you feel at home here anymore? A transition in your life or something on the boards? I'd love to keep you around, and I think the good old CO could use your rather more sensible inputs now and then :).

Also, where the hell did summer even go? It was like three weeks long, I swear...
No, it was like TWO...:)

It's a mix of several things. The lack of new content for 3.5E makes CharOp less interesting, while 4E offers less-well-charted territories (I'm playing both editions in parallel). I do like to play the devil's advocate but I tire of it, and too many of the people we have here aim for too high a level of optimization (for my taste  -_-').
Death to Loredrake Kobolds* and Battle Jumpouncers !  ;)

But these things come and go so maybe I'll be back fully at some point ?

* regarding those: I had never quite read the relevant texts and I simply accepted that they worked. Well, I did so last week and I strongly believe that the RAW is as follows: Dragonwrought Kobolds are not true dragons (they simply have the dragon type), which mean they can't become Loredrakes. But I honestly don't care to argue about it.  :rollseyes

Ugh, I hate venerable dragonwrought kobolds. I also hate "just be a druid" answers and magic marts.

I'll be leaving for my late summer vacation tomorrow morning, I'll be back on the 15th. Going to Romania, hope that will be nice. I most definitely won't be able to post during that time, but I'll try to make a post in each thread before I go, and I'm looking forward to getting back to you all in the second half of September.

Until then, Cheers!

Well,  I'll be getting back on Tuesday, so you guys have just one day left for a post before I return! I'm hoping to get right back up to speed when I return.

The boards have been sketchy lately. I've been getting a blank screen for most of this past week.

Although I haven't been posting much I did get an occasional look at the boards while I was away, and I also had the white screens. It's been working all day for me, though, today.

So get posting, people :).

But it's not my turn!  :P

Also, you were right about college Brainpiercing. It is nice that I only have one class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday though.

So, I am, once again, in Budapest for another set of extra studies/qualifications/research for my PhD. Luckily for all you guys, I have all my books with me. BUT where is everyone else?

And damn, this post is the Neighbour Of The Biest :), and I only just noticed.

College has been eating up all my free time. Will hopefully have some free time (and energy) to post this weekend.

Edit: Didn't work out the way I hoped. Will need another day or two before I post again

I don't know how long it'll be, I'm not really sure how to handle this game-wise. You're welcome to NPC my character while I'm gone Brainpiercing. But, yeah, that's about the gist of it.

Well, best of luck to you with your ordeals, Smudgy.

As for the rest of you guys.... I'm sure it's not my turn to post in a fair number of threads.... so consider this a mild poke :).
