Ergh sorry, been busy. It was the long weekend here, and I have a progress review with my boss/advisor today that I may not survive...

Glad I'm not the only one. Break a leg!
Hyperextension of the knees, prone to subluxing, semi-arthritic, unstable patella/kneecap, mild tear in the right meniscus cartilage... close enough?

That said, my progress review went ok, though I'm still ridiculously behind on work. Ugh.

That's um... a nice list :).

That being said, I am proud to say that I had my first ever sort of breakthrough in my research, in almost two years of work now! Now I just have to prove that it's really what I think it is.

I had one of those while doing my master's. Unfortunately, all I managed to do was prove that the variable I was examining for the past three years had almost nothing to do with the data trends. It was kinda funny doing my defense and concluding that all my work was mostly pointless and that we should have been examining other variables instead  :rollseyes

I added some revisions to the Ranger and Monk classes to the house rules. Revisions=powerups, in case you were wondering.

Sorry I've been silent for a while. School/work/life has been bogging me down. I'll post up something real quick so we can get moving along...

... on top of the regular job, the two part time jobs, and the volunteering. Throw some womanizing into the mix, and really there's hardly any time left at all to sleep :p

Throw some womanizing into the mix [snip]

Hell, sometimes that's all I can manage, I can't even fit the volunteering or part-time jobs in.

Priorities man, priorities!

Heh, that actually reminds me of something that happened in a PbP I was in last year. A guy was in the middle of typing up his post and suddenly his post changed to "... this is ****'s gf and I'm going to sex him up for the next two days. Sorry for the interruption"

So the battle came to a standstill for a couple days. Nothing we could do except cheer a brother on  :rollseyes We all had a laugh and patted him on the back when he returned.

Say dither, now that the woman is obviously OFF your lap (and why didn't you put a laptop on her back?), are you ready to get going? :).

And let me say that the other applicant was most likely a still-birth once again. Man, I really hate that. I think I've helped with about 10 characters for this campaign who never showed up at all.

Well, if you're looking for another person, I know someone who might be interested in joining (actually joining, not fake joining like these other so-called applicants). I'll get back to you on it once he comes back from his vacation.

...I should really go to bed, it's 5:30 in the fuckin' morning and I can't sleep once again.  :banghead

Who said I'm looking at her back?  :D

Anyway, my biggest holdup is the reading I need to do on the stupid revised I---------- in the Player's Guide to Faerun, which I don't have at work (nor do I have the time to read it). If I could just get off my ass and read it at home (and then dredge up the work I did on my character earlier this Summer) and then choose my spells ... I'd be ready to start. As it stands, I'm getting stuff dumped on my lap at work (no woman here  :() and going home exhausted.

I'm hoping I'm back ! It was hard to get back into the current scene, so I'm aiming to transition to a new one soon. While I like Mael's plots, I think it might better to try and tie him with one or more other characters.
(By the way, has anyone read his thread or were you all scared away by BP's Warning signs ?)

I'm not sure how definitive my return will be - if I end having to disappear for another long period of time it might be better to close down my thread. It doesn't help that I don't frequent BG at all anymore. :/

Hope you're all having a nice summer. :)

I would, but I don't want to be slapped by Brainpiercing.  I don't know how he'd do it, perhaps through the internet I guess. Still, it's a chance I'm not taking.

Also, where the hell did summer even go? It was like three weeks long, I swear...
