I cant get enough TF2 right. Its such a quick, jump in, jump out, rewarding experience, that it makes it quite fun. The different classes, make it feel like playing a different game, with having to obey different stratagems to succeeded. It also doesnt require a lot of focus, so it lets me listen to podcasts, or audio books, as I play.

It's a From Software game, what did you expect?

Good lord, yes, I am.

Have you played Demon's Souls? They made some changes that I don't approve of, like making switching targets WAY harder, which is stupid. However, the huge, open-world scope of Dark Souls is baffling and the giant monsters are AWESOME.

I don't know if the designers meant you to take Skill Focus for every feat.
Sounds a little OP.

The monk is clearly the best class, no need to optimize here. What you are doing is overkill.

It's like people who have no idea what a turn signal is. They ruin it for everyone else.
When another driver brandishes a holy symbol and begins glowing with divine light, seek cover or get spattered with zombie brains. I do not see what is so complicated about this.

Eh, multiple-target fights weren't easy in Demon's Souls either. You could be seriously screwed if a giant kobold and a regular kobold showed up at the same time.

Exactly! You need to flick the analogue stick twice in Dark Souls to change targets, which makes multi-target combat almost universally overwhelming. The design decision makes no sense to me, because it literally un-streamlines the combat system.

OK, let me re-phrase that: fighting multiple opponents at once was considered an UNIVERSALLY BAD MOVE in Demon's Souls. It's the reason those three red-eyed knights on the stairway to the Penetrator were so freaking annoying.

I can actually understand the idea behind the design decision. During certain fights, the camera could occasionally fix at a bad angle while you were trying to circle your opponent, which made for some very cheap deaths. Since not locking on was a bad idea for a dozen reasons, you couldn't change the camera angle while locked on, and now you can (which probably helps to envision the situation when you're being attacked by multiple opponents anyway).

And hoping we can jump this time.

Although I already know this isn't possible...

I did 't get a chance to play Demon Souls since I don't own a PS3 I almost bought one to play it though.

I'm right at the Tarus demon since I restarted with as wanderer -- I fucked my cleric all to he'll since I didn't understand the mechanics. Now I've gone and grabbed the winged spear and the stuff guarded by the undead dragon in the valley of the drakes (after an accidental detour into Blighttown). I'm expecting that demon and black knight to go down tonight.

Ho, so classes matter now? In Demon's Souls they only determined your initial stats and equipment.

No, the only difference between classes is starting equipment and stats. Spells now work like D&D scrolls, so casters aren't broken from the get-go.

Eh, the matter in the beginning. But after the first few levels it doesn't mean anything. Wanderer gave me the best starting combo of strength and dexterity for me.

Aw, consumables only? Damn. I loved using Evacuate. I called it the Shit Bricks Spell.  :p
