Evil Psionic Gestalt game.... what to pair?

I am joining a PbP evil gestalt game, and since I have been on a psionic kicks lately and I have never got the opportunity to try a proper psygish; so I want to hear some opinions.

My ideas so far have been
Egoist 20//Ranger 2/Dungeo Crasher Fighter 2/Slayer 10/something X
Ardent 20//Swordsage 6/Slayer 10/Swordsage +4

I have access to most books (including hyperconcious, not really sure if the DM will allow it, but figured I might ask)

Stats where rolled and are 16, 14, 11, 16, 11, 12

Starting at ECL 7

If you can use Hyperconcious, Psianimate Dead will throw people for a twist.  Nothing like using a Psionic Necromancer.

Remeber that Slayer won't advance your manifesting twice each level.  You can replace 9 levels on one side with something else and losebasically nothing.

Not using slayer to doubly advance, I just wanted Full BAB and I like most of the slayer's class features....I know that I use other prestige classes to get full BAB and other nice things; but slayer is quite easy on pre-requisites and I get what I want.

But I guess I could go Egoist 6/Slayer 1// Monk 1/Ranger 1/Warblade 4/Egoist 1(to cover the lost manifesting level)

Monk gives me access to unarmed strike progression, monastic training (slayer) Tashalastorra (slayer) and sun school feat, which coupled with snap kick, gives me a nice pseudo shadow pounce... and I guess I can throw Kung-fu genious.. to get Int to AC...

You're going to want to clear slayer with the DM ahead of time.  The gestalt rules do have this line, after all:

Prestige classes that are essentially class combinations-such as the arcane trickster, mystic theurge, and eldritch knight

Slayer's definitely in the same boat as eldritch knight, so unless your DM ignores this rule, it's not an option.

Have already presented my rough concepts, and so far he haven't said anything against Slayer.

And to be honest I don't thing that clause should be enforced at least with classes such as slayer or eldritch knight; but enforcing it when treating with classes such as the mysthic theurge and the like. Just my personal preference.

proper psygish would seem to me to be a Warforged Shaper//Warblade. for extra cheeze apply the Dragonborn of Bahmuth template. the problem is you won't start with metamorphisis, but you can pick it up at level 9 or 10 using expanded knowledge. (It doesn't need to be shaper, that is just the tradition, psionic repair damage and astral constuct mostly, but that is why expanded knowledge exists)

That build has quite a high synergy, and if you take dragonborn of bamuth you either end up without armor or you can take on of the feats (adamantine body) to permanently get armor.

not sure what prestige classes to take, though 3 levels of factotum can be wonderful to add your int to most combat manuvers if you want to go for a triping/whatever gish. or if you plan to be a sneaky gish.

Warforged gives you a nice list of immunities including not needing sleep.

If you are looking for something to really tack on the whole evil psion image, the subverted psion may be something to consider.

Yeah, I figure, if nothing else, Psion 20//Warblade 20 is plenty fine.  mix in a PrC or two if you really want, or throw some Factotum in the Warblade side with all the Int synergy you have.

If you do put slayer in, make sure to put the non-advancing L1 on the martial side then advance the other parts on the psion side...

Yeah.  There's no reason to be putting Slayer in there on one side and psion on the other.  You should be getting stuff on both sides with as many levels as possible.  So, for example: if you wanted to go something like Psion//Warblade with ten levels of Slayer in there, it should look more like:

Psion 6/Slayer +9/Psion +5//Warblade 5/Slayer 1/Warblade +14

Then you'd be a full manifester with full BAB and you will have gotten a lot more initiator levels out of it.  You see why that's better than psion 20//Warblade 5/Slayer 10/Warblade +5?

i would go for something very simple:

Warforged
Psion 20// Warblade 20

more Bonus Feats(from Psion and from Warblade)
Full Psion 20 Manifester levels
Full Warblade abilities
Full BAB+ 20d12 HD


for a little Boost:

Human
Psion 20// Crusader 2/ Warblade 13/ Master of Nine 5

more Martial Manuvers

How about an Ardent7/Illithid Slayer10/Ardent +3//Monk 2/Swordsage 2/ something 1/ Ur-Priest 2/Ardent 1/Enlightened fist 8/x4

Gives you 9th level manifesting class, decent BAB, 9th level divine spells. Wis to AC twice.

No.  It's that you can't run a PrC up each side at any given level.

Technically the rest of that paragraph would exclude the Slayer, but Dusk Eclipse said his DM is allowing it.
