NEW KFWizard CHICKEN WINGS!

IRRESISTIBLY DELICIOUS!
Dude... holy crap. You definitely WIN! Why kill everyone when you can just brainwash them into being your slaves? And why do it with one at a time when you can do it with everyone? :D
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Irresistable Brimstone Magic Missile. You're on fire now.

No save. Ever. You are now permanently on fire.

Sure, it's 1d6 a round, but it's 1d6 that you can't save your way out of...

Only works because the being set on fire is part of the spell, and so any spells are part of the spell effect...
[spoiler]Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me.
probably over on "Off-topic".
might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post.

This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu".

Arcane Thesis Wings of Flurry was already nice, and making it irresistable means nobody else gets to have actions.  That's pretty much a game winner, though you'll likely want Practical Metamagic (Irresistable Spell) and Easy Metamagic (Irresistable Spell) to bring down the cost.

well chicken infested already has a requirement of a spell component pouch so I could see this happening. I may even have to include it in my game soon.

Somewhat off-topic, but is there any reason why DMM: Envelope the Wall is not completely preferable to DMM: Heighten (especially since there's no 9th level cap for Envelope the Wall)?

The only thing I can think of is that Envelope the Wall is a Capmapign specific feat and an obscure one at that, while heighten is core.....

I think the feat is badly written... they mean that you're increasing the spell slot to get a +2 per spell slot level increase.  But you're right, it says increase the spell level, which is hilarious.  Though with that said Earth Spell makes Heighten Spell better.

Technically, Kingdoms of Kalamar Player's Guide is Core Rulebook IV. Just nobody actually thinks of it that way.

The back cover is like a TO tower shield.

The entire book gains core by using it to grant core.

The new version is from Kingdoms of Kalamar: Player's Guide to the Sovereign Lands.  The old version is from Kingdoms of Kalamar: Player's Guide.  They're both published by Kenzer and Company.  The new book is the 3.5 update of the old book (and adds over 80 pages of new material, according to the back cover).

But to answer your question, I don't regard either book as official.  I just figure, if you accept one, why not accept the other?

Ahh. Good I haven't missed a +10 to save DCs metamagic feat in the last couple of years.
Because that would be awkward if I did.

Is this Official material?
It's "Officially Licensed" by WotC .... which means it's 2nd-party (i.e., essentially, somebody paid WotC for the use of their name and non-OGL material).  Which also means that it's as official as you accept Ravenloft to be.
(1st party being actual WotC-produced stuff; 3rd party being stuff that just happens to use OGL)

The thing is, a lot of these 2nd-party guys actually worked for TSR back in the day; which is, I assume, why they trusted these guys enough to actually let them use the WotC "seal of approval".

[spoiler]
If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.
