And back to town it is...
« on: October 13, 2010, 05:48:02 PM »
Once you all are past the portal, you are greeted by a small squad of nurses ready to tend to any injured. Matsuko gets carried away to a different room so they can treat her level drain, while the other (very, very attractive) nurses start poking you all for injuries.

Unsurprisingly, none of them seems to notice Mugen, despite his considerable efforts to look injured, and his team of cheer-men trying to bolster his Perform(seduction) checks with Inspire Competence.

"Seduce, seduce, seduce, the beautiful nurses!"

"Isn't there some kind of quarantine procedure?" Eren shifts to the form of a nurse holding a syringe.
Eren crosses through without changing form.
As women in identical uniforms swarm in on them, Eren struggles to suppress a grin. Oh this is too perfect... The others lose sight of her as she is swallowed by the crowd of oblivious nurses, just before she changes her appearance.

In moments, there is no way to tell which one she is.

When the nurses begin prodding Talon a small, brief text message scrolls across the light in his eyes.

'You poke it, you prod it, but nothing happens.'
:P

Until I get Harmless Form, Talon can't transform back into Dryn.
Though, either way he's still part warforged, so he's more resilient to healing magic. >_>  <_<
Zane, on the other hand, had been out in the wilderness on job, and otherwise had been occupied with his crystals collection. A woman hadn't been examining him in a long time, and he really didn't mind.

Talon attempts to remove his helmet, but it won't budge. Luckily for him, it's easy to hide the feeling of panic that begins to spread underneath.

Everything's A-OK, right? It must be a glitch... a technical glitch or something... yeah...

Paul grins from ear to ear as the nurses come to patch them up. "Ooh la la! Your body is perfectly proportioned, like ze works of art!"

Imagine her on a plate with an apple in her mouth...delicious!

"So do any of ze ladies appreciate fine cuisine? Perhaps with one of my dishes and some nice music, I can spice up your life a bit, non?"

The nurses seem to giggle incontrollably at Paul's remarks.

For some reason, two of them tense up in between Eren. They press a button on a small device on their belts, and their luscious uniform suddenly becomes a full-body catsuit, complete with a helmet. A small voice sounds: "Tentacle creature detected: activating anti-rape countermeasures."

Eren immediately joins them, pressing her belt and producing an identical suit.

Despite this, the alert persists, though the nurses don't seem as tense as they used to be.

Ghik chuckles at the situation he's in.

"Heh... I can't remember of any moment in my life where I was faced with this much.... help... not that it's a bad thing..."

"When you're done frolicking about with the nurses, remember that you have a report to give still." Matsuko offered in a slight tone of annoyance to the rest of her team.

In flat affect, Talon says "I have not forgotten."

He then shakes his head briefly, as if snapping out of a daze. "Err, um, yeah. Gotcha."

Kyx says, in his own tone of annoyance "Since you seemed to be in charge, I thought you'd be the one giving the report... Isn't that the normal way things work? Leaders give reports, while underlings do the work?" If a suit of armor could smirk, you'd swear he is smirking.

"I assume she means that we will be giving our own version of how things went down. She may be giving her own in private. In a situation as complicated as this, the 'Brass' might want to be sure all the details are in place. They'd probably want to avoid any situations involving an unreliable narrator of events, most likely on our part. The way I was made to understand things, Matsuko was not our leader, so to speak, as much as our... well, chaperone." Talon emits something akin to a coughing sound.

About ten minutes later, you guys all get a message on a large screen.
