With an elaborate wave of 3.125 arms, he summons a servant, nods and says:

"Please tend to their needs. Now, as for what plane we are on, may I officially welcome you to the Guild Offices, a demiplane simultaneously concurrent with, and perpendicular to, all three transition planes. We are technically at right angles with every single other known plane; temporally that is."
Still, may I ask what an elan is doing here?

The kobold pulls off his mask and says "Right angles to all planes temporally, huh? What advantages does that offer, if any?

Oh, and I'll have a cup of mead, if you don't mind."

"I am simply in search of some task or adventure that will sate my insatiable appetite for danger.  All this talk of planes at right angles leads me to think I've come to the right place. Arkforged by the way. Pleased to meet y'all."

"My name is Brottor I am here at Moradin's command" he then turns to the waiter and says "Can I get a dwarfen ale if you've got it?"

Robert looks up at Sophita for a moment and then turns to the servant saying "one glass of Elven wine and a Stine of Cold Dwarfen Ale" then he answers the Koblods question "i think they are saying that the can this is some sort of pocket Hub were you can acess anywere form here"

The kobold sniffs insolently and says "Yes... I get that, believe me. I have helped edit the planar theory section of the Catalogues of Enlightenment for errors. I am not sure what advantage existing temporally at right angles to every other plane gives them, though. If any? Does that mean this pocket plane's timestream is stationary compared to every other plane's? So no time will pass between when you enter it and when you exit, no matter which plane you enter from and leave to?"

Arkforged turns to Brottor."So, what's good ole Moradin getting up to these days?"

"Or it could mean that this plane is translocational to all the other planes. Which would be logical as well."

He looks at the kobold.

Where are these Catalogues of Enlightenment located? I've never heard of them before, though my mind is limited, I think I have heard of most places on the material plane, even though my people have not, I have learnt much from mother Nature.

"The Clockwork Nirvana of Mechanus. They are a product of the collaborative effort of scholars from across the planes to catalogue the sum of existence, in hopes to distill such knowledge down to a working understanding of the mechanics of the cosmos."

Why would a place that have scholars from everywhere have a planar theory section? It's not really a theory when there are scholars from every plane there, I'd assume. Oh nevermind my assumptions, I'd like to visit such a place one day, there must be a lot of knowledge there.

"Well... just because the planes are well represented doesn't mean they're well understood...

And yes... there is an astonishing amount of knowledge there... I spent years there, and still only touched the tip of it...

Some day, I'm sure I'll return. Maybe you can join me, if you're still interested, and we're still traveling together.
