You feel that the trapdoor is literally thrumming with magic. Roll a Spellcraft check to see if you can identify the type.

Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me.
probably over on "Off-topic".
might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post.

This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu".

@Amechra
Taking 10 on spellcraft gives me a 22. If that's not enough: 1d20+12=14

Then I don't know... lol.

My familiar can try to aid another on my "take 10": 1d20+3=5

and... I got nutin...

I was searching that wall for traps, also. Search is 32 by taking 10 (with James' +1). I didn't cast Detect Magic, so I'm not sure how I know it is throbbing with magic, unless it's just visible even without it, hehe.
"That wall is absolutely throbbing with magic. Let me take a look at it before anyone touches it... "

Robert Looking at the Door asks the others "well I am not good with Moveing things with my mind so if you want I could try to open the door if you think that it is a trap?"

((ok telekinetic thrust would be like tying to kick the door down but it would should set off the trap)
Is it trapped? I've posted my search results twice now. :P

I'm going to check one of the grey walls just out curiosity, also. I have a hunch that going the obvious route here might be a bad idea...
Should we get on with this? You say you feel an angry presence past this door, can you decribe it in further detail, is it human, outsider, animal or abberration?

He looks to the kobold.

So are you finding any traps regarding this door? Or should we just open it? Don't we have a wizard with us that can cast as simple a spell as Open/Close?

The kobold turned-dragon says "I can't detect any traps... but like I said, it is thrumming with energy. So even if isn't exactly a trap, I don't know if it's going to be healthy to open it. I can conjure a spell to open it from a distance, though... "

He then mutters a few arcane words, mixed with curses in draconic, and moves back to the center of the room. An invisible force then attempts to pull open the white door.
Xurkwar casts Unseen Servant (using his Uncanny Forethought ability), and has it attempt to open the door, after he's moved back from it.
