Moving up so closely to the muskmen now, their overpowering smell hits Susan's sensitive nose like a brick to the organ at high speed impact. Barely resisting the urge to hurl right there and then, Susan merely felt bile and whatever cardboard gruel the scientists earlier force-fed her gurgle and bubble at her stomach.
Alright no trip.

Susan is sickened. Leviathan is fine.
Spotting a new ally Orson moves to assist, firing at the muskman he was fighting. This time his attack strikes true.
Move to G12 and fire at M1 (the muskman who was injured)

Holding back a retch from the terrible stench, Orson manages to strike true with his bolt, and the entangled muskman falls to the ground in a growing pool of his own blood.
M1 is down. Will post the muskmen actions later. No time right now.
Two of the muskmen maneuver themselves to flank Alan, and unleash another flurry of blows at him.
M1's attacks: 1d20+6=17, 1d20+6=10, 1d20+6=24, 1d20+4=15, 1d4+4=5, 1d4+4=8, 1d4+4=8, 1d4+3=4

M4's attacks: 1d20+6=22, 1d20+6=15, 1d20+6=23, 1d20+4=23, 1d4+4=7, 1d4+4=8, 1d4+4=5, 1d4+3=4

Ouch... looks like 3 hits... for 8+5+4... so 17 damage total... putting him at -3, I think...
This time it looks like they've got the armored man's number, and he crumples to the ground as blood spills from three new wounds.

Another of the muskmen steps up and claws and bites wildly at Cyrus.
1d20+4=22, 1d20+4=6, 1d20+4=9, 1d20+2=16, 1d4+4=8, 1d4+4=5, 1d4+4=5, 1d4+3=7

Looks like one hit for 8 damage.
And manages to draw blood with one claw.

The muskman that mauled Thorston decides to take out his fury on the big dog that's in his face, since the old man ran away.
1d20+4=19, 1d20+4=22, 1d20+4=22, 1d20+2=9, 1d4+4=6, 1d4+4=7, 1d4+4=5, 1d4+3=4
The dog's thick hide and fur, as well as its armor, deflect all of the monster's attacks, though, and only serve to further infuriate it.

The muskman then decides that maybe attacking the dog isn't his best option... and that weird snake thing doesn't seem very nice either. So it takes a step towards the man who's been shooting strange crossbow bolts all over the place at it's allies.
5' step to H11, in front of Orson
Cujo bites the muskman's leg in front of it and pulls hard.  Tetch sends his thoughts out through the network he had created to determine how damaged Thorston is.
Attack: 23
Damage: 13

Trip: 15

Tetch uses his Health Sense class ability to determine how much healing Thorston needs as a swift action.  If Thorston is down more than 20 points, Tetch will use one charge of his Healing Belt, using his Cooperative Healing ability to heal Thorston without needing to touch him.

Healing of needed: 7

Alan drops in a flurry of claws and fangs, Cyrus takes his own nasty shot in the chest, and now a massive giant had just lumbered out from the cover of darkness.  Looking more than a little panicked, Cyrus looks for an escape route.  Woha, where did THAT guy come from!?... Hey, these stinker's weren't expecting him, either!  Cyrus decides to take advantage of their distracted state to stage a fighting withdraw.  He falls back, under the attention of the two muskmen around him, and does a backwards somersault back to his feet behind the near-dead muskman, hoping to catch him in the back with his mind blade yet again.
Move Action: Tumble to H5- 18
Standard Action: Attack M1- 17
Damage- 3 + 3 skirmish

Flanking with Jon, no power attack this time.

Hit Points: 10/18
PP: 9/10

The dog will have to move to reach the muskman, as it moved away after attack. Not that that's a problem...
The huge dog tears the muskman's leg clean off of its body, and it falls to the ground in shock and horror in a spray of blood, its twitches stopping after only a few seconds.

As Tetch begins to direct his thoughts to his charge, he sees Thorston use his own healing belt on himself.
2d8=12

Feel free to save your actions, including the swift if you want. He looks fine.
Cyrus' target however seems more wary of the agile swordsman, and deflects his blade with its armor.

I have nothing better to do with my swift action, it isn't a per use thing anyway.

So yeah, swift action to determine how hurt he is, go!   :p

"You think you can beat me in melee? Maybe if you can reach me!"
As the muskman pounces, Orson fires a shot at point-blank range which pierces the creature's heart and keeps going, bursting from its back.
5ft step to F11, attack with longbow.

1d20+6=26, 1d8+1=6
Critical (20/x3): 1d20+6=22, 2d8+2=15

EDIT: Just so you know, I forgot to include benefits of Point Blank Shot in those dice rolls. ;) That's 24 damage if PBS is multiplied by crits, 22 damage otherwise.

Uhh... the one that came after you... hmm... well, the dog killed it... You could re-aim your shot, but technically you go before the dog... (we've been going out of turn...) so the dog could go after another one. Either way, one of you should change targets. :P

By the way... that's enough to flat-out kill one of these at full health... So if you want to change to an uninjured one, that's fine with me... Do you have Precise Shot, though? (I didn't look)

You could say you fire through the falling muskman and kill the one behind him, too. I'll even let you keep the attack and damage rolls... since you know... he was technically dead already. :P
Leviathan moves a few paces forward, taking advantage of its superior reach to harrass the two muskmen. Susan on the other hand concentrates on holding down her bile and gruel as another shimmer coats herself and her ride.

(If Leviathan moves to H9)

"Position yourself!" Susan coughs at her temporary comrade on the opposite side of the muskman on her right, indicating that a flanking position would offer better combat odds.

OOC:

Work timings are a bitch, sorry for the delay.
Speech is directed at 'O'

Precog Offence, +1 insight to attack

Leviathan moves to G9 if its 10ft bite reach is capable of threatening M4 and M5 with a 5ft step, if not, he moves 10ft to H9.

Biting trip on M4.

Attack roll 22 total, trip attempt if hits, 18 touch
Damage roll, 5

No problem. I've been crazy busy as well. We hosted a baby shower, and I've been doing some computational modeling for work that I've never done before...

M5 is dead, and assuming Prime/Orson goes along with what I suggested in the last few posts, so is M4. Which means that M3 is the only muskman left standing. Leviathan could reach that one with a charge, or even just a move, so I'll assume you're doing that. The 22 attack roll hits even with just a move.

That 18 is an opposed strength (trip) check, right? And not a touch attack? The attack hits, and assuming that's a trip check, the trip succeeds:
1d20+2=14
The serpentine creature with the girl on its back races across the battlefield, and grabs the remaining muskman's leg with its jagged teeth, pulling its feet out from under it.

With a look of obvious panic on its face at seeing the sudden turn of the battle, it stands up and begins to flee.
New round.
AoO (1d20+7=18, 3d6+8=20)
If that hits he isn't going to be having a good day.
oh and the follow up if it hits and he survives (knockdown & imp. trip):
Trip; Hit; Damage (1d20+9=21, 1d20+7=16, 3d6+8=19)
