in d20 modern core book. 2d10 damage, semi and auto firing, 90 ft. range increment. a heavy machine gun. And in d20 future you can get a pistol that does more damage.  :D
in d20 future, you can dual-wield railguns. Hell, you can dual-wield mecha weapons, on a normal character. I'll take two mini, compact, tsunami 480's.

Yeah, Weapon gadgets are broken.

it gets better with combo weapons. tear gas nunchuks anyone? or chainsaw crossbow? or even maybe a taser compound bow?

I'd drop 2 levels of bases classes to either add a level to each advanced class, or add 2 levels of gunslinger.
