An insane disease that tries to take over the world, and you have to stop it. Along the way you get to deal with evil outsiders, diseased people, pirates, an aristocrat's evil brother, and the abyss itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savage_Tide

Lots of pirate / aquatic themed stuff, too.

If I had the magazines, I'd run it, I think.  Its pretty fun.

You'll probably have to stick with level 1 and make sure that there are ample opportunities to rest. That, or sprinkle the treasures with potions of Cure Light Wounds, or something.

You might be best off looking for things that are more puzzle-based, that have less to do with the capabilities of the PCs and more of the wit of the players.

Totally true.  Historians believe that most past civilizations would have endured for centuries longer if they had successfully determined Batman's alignment.

Why are so many posts on the board the equivalent of " Dear Dr. Crotch, I keep punching myself in the crotch, and my groin hurts... what should I do? How can I make my groin stop hurting?"

+1 Savage Tides.  We're about halfway through personally.  The only complaints are that the pdfs aren't awesomely laid out (so my gf, who is running the game, says) and if your group is at all into optimization, you will probably have to scale up the encounters a bit.

Age of Worms is AWESOME. Holy crap. Now that's an adventure path. I was smitten by Savage Tides, but Age of Worms is just that little bit better.

Plan on doing that one, and the minotaur one afterwards.
