It's got slightly steeper pre reqs than you probably want, and requires a lost caster level, but War Weaver works pretty well with a melee-heavy party, and a few Knight of the Weave spells can be cast through the Tapestry.

Yeah, I was looking at that before, but I've been focusing more on BC, divination and offensive single-target spells (I do love Maximzed Lesser Orbs). The majority of the buffs I picked up already work on the whole party, so I'd be using the War Weaver mostly for Darkvision and Shield, not the most efficient use of it. Too bad really, as it fits in nicely to the Weave Protector theme.

It also lets you toss out a crapload of buffs on the whole party as a move action. That's the real benefit of War Weaver: gaining virtual actions.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks
