Well... a really liberal interpretation of Secret Page might let that do it. Otherwise, I don't know of one. The Planar Touchstone feat when applied to the Catalogues of Enlightenment location can get you any spell in a cleric domain, but it takes some time.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

Q296. Is there any alternative way to alter somebody memories other than Mind Rape and Modify Memory? I have access to all Druid and [Non-Domain] Cleric Spells, i also have Shapechange up to 17 HD, I could use Miracle, but seems like a waste...

Why is it a waste? Unlike Wish, you don't pay the XP cost just to reproduce lower level spells. So the only cost is a spellslot for the day.

Bump

Q 288a Improving Monsters question. It says that for the CR to increase, you have to raise their racial HD by X amount. Is this number the addition after what they currently are, or the number that hits the even divisible amount? Example, a clay golem is 11d10. It says that a construct is +1 CR/4 HD. Is this at 15 HD, or at 12 HD (12 divided by 4 = 3, no decimal places)?
Q 288b What happens when you max out at the HD for that size? Clay golems advance at 12-18 HD. If it's the former (ie 15 HD = +1 CR), it'll be 1 HD short. If it's the latter (ie 16 HD = +2 CR), it'll be 2 HD short. What happens at 18 HD? It doesn't qualify for the full additional +1 CR. Or does it?

A288a: Neither, it's at 15 HD (11 +4).
A288b: By RAW it would not qualify for the full increase, but IMO clay golems are particularly nasty sons of bitches with their SR vs. Healing curse (an Ex ability for you polymorphers out there), the DC of which appears to be Strength-based with a +4 racial bonus.

For example, a 22 HD Clay Golem advances to Huge size and gains 3 stat bumps from increased HD.  They also gain a mere +3 adjustment to their CR, bringing it to 13.

Advanced Clay Golem -- CR 13
Always N Huge Construct
Init -1; Senses Darkvision 60', low-light vision; Spot +0, Listen +0
Languages --
----------------------------------------
AC 24 (-2 Size, -1 Dex, +17 Natural)
  Touch 7, Flat-footed 24
HP 160 (22 HD)
DR 10/adamanite and bludgeoning
Immune Construct Immunities
Fort +7, Ref +6, Will +7
----------------------------------------
Speed 20'
Melee 2 slams +26 melee (4d8+12 plus Cursed Wound)
Space 15', Reach 15'
Base Attack +16, Grapple +36
Attack Options Cursed Wound DC 33
----------------------------------------
Abilities: Str 35, Dex 8, Con --, Int --, Wis 11, Cha 1
SA: Berserk, Cursed Wound
SQ: Construct Traits, DR 10/adamanite and bludgeoning, Darkvision 60', haste, immunity to magic, low-light vision

Personally, I think that's a really nasty CR 13 encounter.  You need serious magic to reverse Cursed Wound (I believe the Break Enchantment DC is 33 as well), and even the stuff that *can* break it can't be cast in combat.  If the group's beatstick can't take it out in one shot, someone's going to get some serious pain laid down on them.

In other words, just don't follow the guidelines listed in the MM/DMG/wherever.  Best way to deal with XP in D&D is to tailor the encounters to the group and then award an arbitrary amount of XP based on their advancement of the campaign.

Q298

I'm subbing in a new Cleric soon, I'd like to take War and Spell as my starting domains, but I'm having trouble thinking of an ideal that links battle and magic (for a NG or LG character). Any ideas?

Magocracy.  Spellcasters are the chosen ones, and should rule the world!  And anyone who disagrees should be defeated in glorious battle!

A288a: Neither, it's at 15 HD (11 +4).
You can't say "neither". I said 15 HD the first time, so you just reinforced what I asked. I asked 15 HD or HD divided by the +N HD? Therefore, it's the former.

As for XP, they're getting none. I'm doing up my own Tomb of Horrors one-shot game where they're not supposed to get out alive. I did the playtest last night, and no NPC survived more than a round. They were lucky to even get their turn before the PCs laid a smackdown on them. So I have to follow the guidelines and make it incredibly tough for them.

EDIT: I think what bothers me about the answer though, is going back to the clay golem's "max" advancement. It's 33 HD, yet the CR increase would stop at 31. If it's every 4, what happens at 32 and 33? Nothing? You just taking those two HD for kicks?

I don't know about good, but it is lawful. At least it's glorious battle, and not getting stabbed in the back, or having your name put on an assassin's hit list.

Have your ideals be something like a paladin....
Only instead of using a sword to clean the world of evil you use spells.....

Alternatively, Heretic of the Faith (LEoF) lets you swap out a domain and be one step farther from your deity's alignment.  Alternatively alternatively, serve the elder evil Sertrous, who grants every domain on account of not being as big a dick as most of the gods.

50 pages .... HERE's the next one.   :)

[spoiler]
If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.
