Q 149 Does a Transmuting weapon work against someone with DR 5/-?

Q139 Can I use Quicken SLA with Eldritch Blast then?  If so, how would that work?

Yes. Quicken SLA limits you to spells of level (CL/2-4). Eldritch Essence and Blast Shapes modify the spell level of the Eldritch Blast, and you can't use Essences or Shapes with a level higher than (CL/2-4) if you want to Quicken the blast.

Note that the Warlock description specifically mentions Quicken SLA.

it doesn't do anything to that DR.

You loaded way too much confusing bullshit and assumptions into this, no wonder nobody wants to bother with it.
/shrug

It didn't seem very confusing to me. Thanks for the answer though, I thought that would be the case.

Q150: are there any monsters that can use ethereal jaunt, or a similar ability, as Ex? What are other good ways to deal with a ghost at ECL 7 (not counting glitterdust)?

A150 Magic Weapons (permanent or temporary) and enough attacks can take them down. If they're using "hit and run" tactics, use readied actions.

Q151:  is there anything like the Armbands of Might that applies to Combat Expertise?

Among other things, the Armbands of Might give you a +2 to damage when you Power Attack for 2+.  The only thing I can recall to improve Expertise like that is that broadbladed shortsword.

It probably has low hp.  Magic missile is your man.  Alternatively, abjurations like fire trap and explosive runes extend to ethereal plane.  Holy water and turning could work too.

Q 152 Apparently you can take any feat, and make it into an item for 25k. Does anyone have a source on that?

There's not one. Especially since many feat-granting items don't follow that formula at all.

I just realized what he did while going through SpC. It's Heroics. He just house ruled it that it's for any feat, not just fighter feats. And it's 24k.

Q153:  Can a Master Thrower combine their Thrown Tricks?  Like doing a Defensive Throw-Palm Throw-Weak Spot to throw two daggers at an adjacent enemy that are touch attacks.

Q154: What are the best ways of acquiring invulnerability to acid? The more permanent, more un-dispellable, and less expensive it is, the better.

OH U

Let's be slightly more specific. Options available to a PC around 5th level.

Half-Green Dragon?  Voidmind Template?  Level 7 MoMF to wild shape into something with Acid Immunity?

Edit:  Oh, 5th level?  Exhaled Immunity breath weapon feat for a Dragonborn of Bahamut would work.  Or a Dragonfire Adept with the Acid breath effect.  Re-Edit:  Though that feat doesn't work on yourself.  You'd need someone in the party to make use of it.

Do you guys think this would work:  Warforged with his composite plating enchanted with +1 Blueshine... since his armor is part of him, would the Blueshine make him immune to acid??

I'd just buy an (Energy Substitution: Acid) Mantle of the Fiery Spirit off of a druid somewhere, but there IS NO ACID SUBTYPE.
