Any specific tidbits on the DFRPG system that are particularly impressive?

There's the fact that you can play damn near anything. Werecreature? Sure. Wizard? Yep. Badass normal? Got you covered. Fey? Absolutely. Our playtest group included of a Native American shaman werecouger and a "corporomancer" (guy who can turn incorporeal)..

I think they balanced out the supernatural powers vs. non-supernaturals quite well. Without going into specific mechanics, the more supernatural schtick you have the less free will you have (quite literally), but not in a "The GM takes over your character and you get to watch" kind of way.

Wizard spellcasting was actuially kind of awesome...hopefully it'll be toned down a bit in the final product. Of course, I was playing the Alpha version...I expect serious changes.
