For once, I am intimidated by a Monk that isn't DMan's.

Imagine the amount of wealth they'd have to go through to aelryinth their way into wizardhood, though.
[Spoiler]
A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Nonsense, it's only the wealth of a character 6 levels higher for each monk!
The mind transcends the body.
It's also a little cold because of that.
Please get it a blanket.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

You need a colossal monk flurrying with gargantuan monks flurrying with huge monks flurrying with large monks flurrying with medium monks flurrying with small monks flurrying with dimunitive monks flurrying with tiny monks flurrying with fine monks.

Oversized TWF, Monkey Grip, Bear Totem Barbarian, Drunken Master...
Eh, the wizard have more money than them combined, he could in theory just use all his money on a fleet of trained attack mules, but then we aren't playing 3.5 but zergling rushing in Starcraft instead.

Mage Killer? Play a wizard!!!  :P

Though I'm sure you'd be so weak due to your DM that it'd be pointless.

Pretty much, yeah. Also, wizard PCs don't exist in his campaign. Sorcerers? No problem. But if you play a wizard, and you think you're "all that", he will school you hard.

So if you complain the whole time about how your character sucks, it's no problem? ;)

I'm going to fall back on the kick in the nuts. This guy really needs one. You must have the patience of a saint, I would have quit his group and DM'd my own a long time ago.

Ha, no. If start taking his guys out too quickly, "the memo" about you will get out, and all the enemies will start to counter everything you do. I'm finding things immune to force now because of my bow. And at lvl 21, there are a lot of things immune to force, and it's viable that these guys could get that.

DM'd your own game with who? And on what days? Because players are few and far between. Especially for availability. Believe me, I know.

Yeah, remember the people Kevin has as fellow PCs have beaten-wife syndrome about this guy.

Why, the players in his game that hate him, of course. Same day(s).

With beer. And hookers.

They likely wouldn't join your game. They already play on Fridays with his game.

That's exactly right. One guy has officially left our group, and given up on D&D entirely (he's all about 2nd). He's playing another RP on Wednesday nights.

With beer. And hookers.
One guy's 17. That probably wouldn't look so good legally.

Lots of beer, and lots of hookers. Hookers dressed up like pixies, angels, and succubi, all fighting in the backyard.

If they hate him enough, they would join. It's not like you have to talk to them in front of this loser, we have magnificent technology these days, such as telephones and e-mail.

Seventeen? I was doing a lot worse than that when I was 17.
