I'm fine with people who have played the campaign before.

Edit: Yay, someone has done all my work for me and written an (extensive) conversion for Savage Tide in Eberron. It does call to be set in Q'barra rather than Lhazaar though but they are close together anyway so it shouldn't matter too much.

Care to link me to it? I might run it in the future and my group's default setting is Eberron, so that would really come in handy by then :)

Currently debating between Conjurer, Gun toting Artificer or Gun toting Ranger.
Only concern with the latter two is being able to afford a (breach loading) firearms at level 1 :P

bear in mind that guns are exotic and you cant cross apply crossbow feats to them in this game (unlike my other game) and thus as most guns are a full round reload even breachloading wont let you get iterative attacks later.

I know :)
And I know it's only one shot per round, but
1) that doesn't come into play until later on
2) guns are awesome ;)

I'll probably try to optimize single shot damage

^ This ^

And Move Action reload with Breach Loading.

But I'm assuming you meant full-round to reload AND shoot (assuming Breach Loading) :)

Say Littha, would you allow a house-ruled version of Rapid Reload for Firearms?
I figured it couldn't hurt to ask :D

Any reason you can't have unseen servants handle the reloading for you?

Because I most likely won't be playing a caster.

No not really, that is what breachloading is for. (What I was talking about with not cross applying crossbow feats).

Bear in mind that gunpowder weapons wont work if your powder gets wet.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Can you say anything about available downtime for crafting yet, Littha?

Bump...

Also:  :love

Currently thinking about (depending on the answer to the above question) about a House Cannith Human Targetteer Artificer using a Rifle based loosely on Richard Sharpe.

So, Savage Tides in Eberron? Sign me up. I'm already doing it in another PBP, but we're only about 2 encounters into that, so I can keep meta-knowledge to a minimum.

Ideas: Warforged Monk, to be used as ammunition in a catapult. A kobold would be interesting....what is your stance on such cheesy matters a Dragonwrought, and Kobold age categories letting them count as true dragons with Dragonwrought? A dragonmarked character would be cool to have, maybe a Valadis Griffonrider, or a Lyrandar person to pilot a ship, or a aberrant marked on the run. Got too think about this.

Make sure to take Adamantine Body and the Obese Trait to maximize your weight and falling/impact damage :P

Make it an Aptitude firearm. :P

This sounds awesome, but I think I may be in too many games as it is. :P Playing a Warforged or Halfling Artificer would be tempting, though...

My work
The tier system in a nutshell:

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.[/spoiler]
