Q 173: Are there more classes that give a template at the end of a prc other than the ones I'm listing below? (Note: Haven't checked Eberron yet)

Here's a list of what I know so far:
Dragon Disciple -SRD- Become a Half-Dragon
Walker in the Waste -Sandstorm- Become a Dry Lich
Shadow Sun Ninja -Tome of Battle- Gain Vampire Template that doesn't have the vulnerability to Sunlight! You become a NPC but many DM's will overlook that.
The Disciple of Ashardolon -Draconomicon- Gain Half-Fiend Template, must be a dragon first
Dragon Devotee -Races of the Dragon- Gain Draconic Template, can't have dragon template beforehand
Elemental Savant makes you into an Elemental (Comp Arc)
Fiend-Blooded makes you into a Half-Fiend (ie - outsider) (Heroes of Horror)
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

A174 sure, why wouldn't they?
Never know. Could be a taboo thing or something like that.

Q 175 What PrCs are there that increase both arcane spellcasting and sneak attack, other than Arcane Trickster? The "trickster" variant of the Spellthief, which gives you spells as a bard, removes your trapfinding, sneak attack damage, 2 skill points, and a lot of skills. Wanting to put that back up to a decent number.
Unseen Seer (Complete Mage IIRC), great way to add Hunter's Eye to your list as well (PHB2, Ranger lvl. 2 spell, grants 1d6 SA/3 caster levels) :)
Sadly it's only 1 round though. I guess that'd be all you need though.
And yes, it's in Comp Mage. :)
PERSISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST
Beat me to it :)
Um, that's a +6 adjustment. Maybe if you're epic level and can get those higher spell slots with feats, or have that kind of space with a full caster, but that doesn't really work for casters that only have 4th level slots.
Incantatrix 3 or Spelldancer 1, paired with Item Familiar (Incantatrix) should be easy enough to fit in. Especially if you consider the huge benefit.
Or just use Extend and get two rounds of it. Volley your attacks, and nothing will survive it anyhow.

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

Even with a "fair" caster, a level 8 slot for an extra 8d6 or so precision damage on every attack/ray all day is worth it IMO.  How do you even manage to only get 4th level spells with Unseen Seer?  After 10 levels, it's guaranteed to be an 11th level caster at least.  Are you progressing Mystic Ranger or something?

Edit: even mystic ranger gets 5th level spells. :)

Q168: Is there a way to Hide after shooting someone ('sniping') as a Swift action?
Or Hiding as a Swift action at all, for that matter?

There is the sniping section on the SRD, which seems to require no action at all... does limit you to one shot a round though.
Quote
There was a feat that either negated that penalty or reduced it considerably. I can only find Able Sniper at the moment which just decreases it to -16.
I seem to remember one that grants -10...

Q169: Aside from Hustle and Lesser Celerity, are there any other low level (say, around level 4-5) ways to get an extra move action.
Note: Move action, not movement, so Travel Devotion isn't an option.

Thanks again,
~Bowen
Bamp for new page

lvl 10 Halfling rogue sub level from races of stone reduces hide penalty to -10 for sniping. There's one or two other things somewhere besides Able Sniper that help out with this too, but nothing very significant. Don't know anything that'll reduce the hiding action to swift. My preferred solution is to just make sure that they can't see you anyways. Rope trick is an AMAZING sniper nest.

Edit:
Concealed Ambush: Dragon Magazine 339 Page 87
Prereqs: Hide 10 ranks, Move Silently 10 ranks, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot
Benefit: Reduces Hide penalty when Sniping form -20 to -10.

Forest Ambusher: Dragon Mazagine 315 Page 64 (Warning: Ancestor feat.)
Prereqs: Nation: Shou Lung, Jungle Lands
Benefit: +3 Hide in forests, -15 instead of -20 when sniping.

Q176:  The "X Stat to Y Bonus" thread indicates Feycraft weapons give DEX to damage.  However in reading the description from DMG II, it definitely seems like it only applies to attack bonus, not to damage.  Is this simply an error, or is there some wording or errata I'm missing?

Exactly! But I was talking about the Spellthief. Hence my confusion.

Q 177 Looked at the trickster version of the Spellthief, and I'm sure it's a matter of opinion, but considering all that you lose, is it really worth taking over the original? Yeah you get to be a full caster, and have 6th level spells as a bard, but you lose all but 1 of your sneak attack, you lose 1/3 of all your class skills (including bluff, disable device, escape artist, hide, jump, move silently, open lock, search, swim, and tumble), and 2 skill points per level.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Q165B: Other than Entangling Exhalation, what are some good metabreath feats that will continue to be useful at levels 16+?

Q178: If I'm Gestalting Dragonfire Adept 16//LA 1-3/Classes 13-15, what would people recommend for the classes? (Thus why I was asking about Draconic. IMO, +6, and +2 to both of the DfAs main stats isn't that bad at all, considering we have to take LA and I don't really feel like using Lloth-Touched, Feral or Mineral Warrior. Half-Minotaur is so obviously broken that I'm not even going to ask the DM.)

If possible, I'd like those "classes" to be some sort of divine (caster?) and Con/Cha based. Paladin comes to mind, with the +Cha to saves.

Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

A179:  Be a sorcerer and grab the spells from Draconomicon that directly affect your breath weapon.  Stunning Breath, Rebuking Breath, Blinding Breath, etc.  All are fantastic.  Your CHA can be just high enough to cast whatever level of spells, probably an 18 would be plenty.  Then you can still just focus on CON.  If you want CHA to saves, make sure and learn Ruin Delver's Fortune. ;)

Q166: Is it possible to Hide (Via Hide in Plain Sight) and then Sneak Attack within the same round?

The hide skill says that Hiding is part of a movement. So you could move your 30ft and jump into the shadows as a move action, or 5ft move plus a move action to hide-in-plain-sight, then use your standard action to Attack. Your opponent will be denied his Dex, and shanked.

Leaving any other special feats or circumstances out of it: Is this correct?

As afar as I can see, yes.
Eh, the wizard have more money than them combined, he could in theory just use all his money on a fleet of trained attack mules, but then we aren't playing 3.5 but zergling rushing in Starcraft instead.

Also note that the Rules Compendium allows you to hide while full attacking, albeit at a -20 penalty..

Optimizing is the antithesis of roleplaying because it takes focus away from the important parts of the game.
