E6 Gestalt Bard/Artificer or Rogue/Wizard

I'm helping a friend out on a build for an E6 gestalt game. He wants a item creation character that and is going for quick crafting, and for seeing if he cant push the CL 6 for emulating spells.

Half Dragon works real well with E6.  In addition while normal half dragon is silly in normal D&D to change your energy type for dragonfire inspiration due to the 3 LA, it is great for e6.

3rd level infusions (thus easy persist)
Metamagic Spell Trigger
Can craft anything
2nd level bard spells
Inspire Courage
Dragonfire Inspiration
