~Food For Thought~ Psionic/Arcane Lurv
« on: July 16, 2010, 06:00:29 PM »
So. Here's the lay out.

Any material really, as long as it isn't Homebrew, (3rd party is allowed)

No Prestige Classes.

Psion, let's get some flavorful Powers and fun feats to help!

Or Wizard. Variants Allowed. Suggestions on both helps feed this thought train.

And, Go!

Why bother when Truenamers are far superior?

Well I shall be honest.. there has been a shift in a RL Game. They decided no PrC for "balance", because they can't keep a campaign going, they are blaming it on things being overpowered, so they think Vanilla Class (As in, no Prestige Classes) will be more balanced

In that case...core only caster, and blow up the world, then we can continue with normal characters.  :D

Be a Wizard who uses mental pinnacle to fake Psionics and possibly out-Psion the Psion.
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

I have a Sorcerer build or two for just such an occasion.
