18th level Bone Knight

Optimized 18th level Bone Knight -- any suggestions?  Why 18?  Because I get to pick up Phantom (MM5) for two levels.  Other than Bone Knight and Nightsticks, I basically only have access to Core, Complete, and Races of... books.

bone knight suggests going gish. It also depends what else is important to you. I have personally done a Bone Knight and entered it with Ur-Priest so the hit to CL didn't bother me and i got a few levels of other base classes to enhance my combat abilities.
Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.
Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Yep. Focus on melee abilities so the caster level hit doesn't completely bone you.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

I think a build I did a while ago looks something like Human Paragon 1/Paladin of Slaughter 2/Hexblade 3/Ur-Priest 2/Bone Knight 10/Human Paragon 2
