As is costumary, the moment you all manage to practically touch the door to the reception center, the BBEG presents himself. Or herself.

In this particular case it does so by erupting out of the ground in a massive explosion of shattered soil, waving a staff and standing atop what looks like a giant Dia de Los Muertos skull.

The evil... person... wears body-concealing robes from head to toe, split in color at the middle vertically. The right side is a pink-ish shade of purple, and the left side is black.

He... or she... speaks in a creepy voice like a man and a woman are speaking at the same time. Looking closely, half his face is female... or half her face is male.

"You nosy little bastards! I ought to strip the flesh from your bones for this interference. Curse you, Kab... I mean, random assortment of adventurers!!"

Zane simply starts loading his revolver and rifle fully, all with rune bullets, and slides a bunch more into the empty bullet-slots on his ammo belt. He snaps the revolving chamber into place, replaces it, and with the rifle in hand, finally looks up irritably. "The faster you monologue, the faster we can get to being killed by your unstoppable force, right?"

Raising the staff into the air, the... person... cries out:

"Come to me, Kikaijuu Gashadokuro!!"

A gigantic skeleton emerges from the ground, its spine connected to the soil proper as though it cannot fully extricate itself from there. It plunges its hand into the ground, and pulls what looks like a huge femur from there. A reddish light flickers past its eyes as it roars away at the party.

Oh, and then the giant skull Baron Ashura had been riding also turns out to be a giant skeleton. This one has LEGS, though. And a BFS.

"...That's it. We're officially screwed." Is Matsuko's out loud thought.
