Given that the minis are otherwise worthless, $13 for random mini is extremely overpriced.

The double mini thing is also pointless.  As far as I'm concerned, it is an excuse for a high price tag.

I did not actually get to play myself because the place was constantly mobbed.

The game looks cool and the rules are fun and interesting.  My concern is replayability and cost.

How many times can you battle before you want a new faction?  And then how many times before you want a new release?

The price is very high for random figures.

The one good thing there is that you can play any mini no matter what faction you're playing.  You just get a discount for in-faction models. So you'll be able to play with anything you get.  But, I agree, still a bit pricey.

I wonder how big the set is then and how many monsters there are??  I'd be pissed if I kept paying 13 bucks and getting the same one, especially if the monsters are unique and your only allowed one of each.
