Buurk sprints to behind the pillar, getting uncomfortably close to the rifleman.  "Drop your gun and lay down on the ground.  If you do so we will not kill you," threatens the Waterborn Orc.

[spoiler]
If the pillar is 60 feet away, I think all I can do is a double move to get next to him.

Startled and seeing her companions defeated she drops her gun to the floor.

Buurk takes her rifle.  "Now get out of here!" he roars, pointing out the way they came.

He looks around for stairs or a passageway leading further inside.

There is an archway nearby, behind where the defenders were stood when you entered. This room was obviously designed to be a choke point for ambushes.

Illiarven tosses the dead soldier away like a discarded plaything, meanwhile Zaneak peers through the archway.
"You think I'm talking about breaking the rules?"
"No I'm just trying to figure out how far you want them bent."

Buurk looks around for any other possible doors just waiting to be burst down.  He raises an eyebrow at the machine man inspecting the magic, but says nothing.

Zaneak urges Illiarven forward, squeezing along side circle, some of her fur breaking the circle.

"Whatever you say, Soneleus."  Buurk knocks open the next door they find, ready to be shot again.

The next door opens to a staircase, you can hear voices through the door at the top.

OOC: Listen checks.

Buurk looks at Soneleus and Zaneak while he points at an ear then up the stairs.  He cups a hand around his ear trying to hear in vain.

Listen check at bottom of stairs. (1d20=2)
