I'm bringing a character into a long running campaign (about 12 years long) that started in 2nd edition. Surprisingly, the party isn't HORRIBLE, but they aren't always useful. I just lost my character in it (two Troll AoO's wiped him). One of the trolls was carrying a sack with a humanoid in it (perfect angle for my new character to arrive). Anyway, here's what I'd like to do:
Level 10 Feat Rogue (no PrC's allowed or campaign-specific/psionic/ToB/Incarnum/etc classes)
Whisper Gnome
I'm going to use the two tactical feats that let you get on top of bigger creatures or under them (I forget the names; one's in the Races of the Wild the other in maybe PHB2 or CW?). I'm thinking about tripping (without reach, to prevent any power), staying in occupied squares to give a 50% miss chance/hit my opponent chance, trip, +AC, keeping Roots of the Mountain stance up, nuking once an encounter with "something" Mountain Strike and a Spell Storing weapon.
Anyway, what other tricks can I do with 3-5 open feats? I'll be taking:
-Pre-req feat for the Tactical in RoW
-Underfoot Combat (RoW)
-Giantbane (CW)
-Goad
-Marshal Maneuver: Vanguard Strike (ToB)
-Marshal Stance: Iron Guard's Glare (ToB)
-Dodge (PHB)
-Titan Fighting (RoS)
Still have 2 feats.
