Ok, this is kind of a part two to this topic for me, but now I have all the info. Originally I posted seeking help for a Cleric/Malconvoker build, but the DM changed some things. So, here is the deal...
High level 3.0/3.5 home game. He assigned me my stats but did not tell me what race I was assigned. I knew I was in an underground society. The DM challenged me to make a very powerful character, and he planned to throw some powerful things at us. So far, the most powerful character in the game is some odd Druid creation, and she is kicking ass in all situations. I know a war is coming, as the community of Shadow Elves (mix of Drow and neutral Shadow Elves) plans to invade the surface very soon, in a full scale war against a large nation of elves and their neighboring humans. This is not a question, we have it on fact, this is going to happen. Winner take all, fight to the finish.
So, he assigned me my stats, and I'll give those in a minute, but I believe, and am almost certain at this point, I am a 'Steel" dragon, who has polymorphed himself into a Shadow Elf. For unknown reasons, I have no memory of my Dragon life, which I am beginning to piece together is around 450-500 years old now. That puts me at 'Old' category in dragon terms, which is powerful, to say the least. I have spells that are based on my race, and have no relation to my chosen class. I mention that, because some of the class features force me to abandon certain schools of magic, but that does not apply to my dragon based spells. I have numerous powers, and of course, my breath weapon. I figure to have full knowledge and control of my dragon form by the end of next game. We plan to play these characters to 20, and perhaps a few levels more.
Ok, here is my current attempt. Starting level is 6th.
Race: Steel Dragon
Class: 2 Wizard (specialist:Conjy)/3 Master specialist/1 Malconvoker
Stats in Shadow Elf form
8 -STR
12 -DEX
14 -CON
21 -INT
10 -WIS
21 -CHA
Alternate Class Features:
Focused Specialist
Enhanced Summoning
Rapid Summoning
Feats:
1. Spell Focus:Conjy
2. Augmented Summoning (ACF)
3. Rapid Spell (ACF)
4. Skill Focus: Spellcraft (PrC MS)
5. Metamagic School Focus
6. Fiendish Summon Specialist
I plan to take, when available:
7. Practiced Spellcaster
8. Improved Initiative
9. Summon Elemental
I gave up Evocation, Enchantment, and Necromancy.
I have many many skills (from so many skill points from my high INT), and speak an large ammount of languages.
I am allowed any 'mundane' magic items for free. These include any item of +1. I can also get one or two slightly higher items, if requested.
Game will run between levels 6 through low 20's we figure
Thus far, trying to follow the rules, which means jumping around in a bunch of books, have I made myself as powerful as I can possibly be? Could I make this class another way, to make myself even more powerful. He is taunting me, as are the other players, in a light fun way, about survivability. I have a ring of invisibility, which is insane, when combined with this class so far. I am allowed to modify my character right now, as we are still in the early stages of the game, to make sure this is the character I want to play for the long run.
I have read about Archivist (know very little about that class, as its slightly confusing to understand) being more powerful. Is there other class selections I can take, to be more than what I already am? I am being given the complete run of anything in books I can find, and I want to shake this game world, if I can.
Also, I have read of this spell called 'Haboob', listed in a book marked /Sand. I don't know this book, and thus can't find this spell. Can someone give me a write up, so I can use it? And are thier any other spells you would suggest I take, not in the three schools I listed as having given up?
Basically, I am asking you all to look at and use the listed stats I have, and come up with a playable 6th level Malconvoker character, I can run to level 20'ish, that is up to the challenge of my DM, for a very high powered home game.
I thank you all in advance for you help.
