But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

I'm pretty sure it's a HackMasters magic item.
A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

Okay, I've got one for you, and it's really retro.

Dark Sun from AD&D.

Q 104a What weapon is this guy carrying, and can you get it in 3.5?
Q 104b Does the guy on the cover have a name? Also, what class(es) is he?

EDIT: Shattered Suns is video game, but I'd still like to know the information if at possible. Especially the weapons.

Q105:
Does using the Luminous Armor or Mage Armor spells negate a Monk's armor bonus at all?

Edit: Q105b
If a druid casts Luminous Armor on himself and then Wild Shapes, does he retain the benefit of Luminous armor, and does the strength damage still apply?

A105: No.  A monk's AC bonus is lost when the monk "wears any armor" or "when she carries a shield", not when the monk has an armor or shield bonus to AC.

A105b: Luminous Armor is a spell effect, not an item.  It doesn't meld with the druid's body when he wild shapes, and the effects (both good and bad) are not negated.

Which is why a monk in DragonScale Husk works sooo well.

the weapon is the cahulak ; go to athas.org and download the 3.5 campaign setting.

A104b
I have no clue ; but I'm sure he's somebody from the Dark Sun cannon (either the early novels or some sort of supplement material) -- but that's just a guess.

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

Thanks.

Q 106 Discussing this somewhere else, but I'm curious. Whether RAW or not, if a LG paladin falls in love with a succubus, does it count as failing and cause him to fall?

I don't think it would cause him to fall right away, but it would certainly put him on a slippery sloap if it doesn't make him fall.

Q 98: What templates can change a humanoid into a Monstrous Humanoid?  I know of Feral; any others?
At the very least, Winged from the same book.
Any others?  Or rather, what things would pair well with Feral to mitigate the horrific Intelligence penalty?

Maybe Gray Elf, Fire Elf or Lesser Tiefling as the base race?

Q 108: Realmshelp has stats for a fire troll and lists the source as Dragon 199 and Dungeon Compendium Vol. 1.  Do they actually mean Dragon Compendium Vol 1 by Piazo?

Yup, page 220.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Q109:  Does the wild shape variant ranger pick up his wild shape ability when the druid would, when he loses the first class feature he gave up for it, or what?

A109: It's explained in UA and on the SRD. At lvl 5 he gains it.

Although he would pick up fast movement at level 1.

Not really, but Diamond Mind has some of the best manuvers that they have access to.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!
