1. Purpose : The purpose of the non-deleted thread handbook is to illustrate how to save a thread from being deleted.

2. History : In april 2010 a movement began to save unwanted threads.

please do not delete this thread.

i nominate it for addition to handy links.

3. Methods :

    a. continue on topic without the thread starter.
    b. derail an abandoned thread.
    c. rail a thread that has no content.
