Still working on my character, and really need to work on background.

I have Martial Stance slotted on my pet, standing a certain way doesn't sound like it requires int, though I am thinking it might require a trick. Would love VoP on him...but I figured that was too much.  :D

I don't want to work to much on background, because I have yet to chose city or nature, and that will determine the background.

one more house rule to add:
Truespeak is no longer a skill its a class ability for truenamer the DC is 15 + (1.5*CR), rounded down for checks rather than 15+(2*CR).

Truenamer has 3+ Class level + Int mod effective skill.

While that seems like it would make truenamer better, I still doubt anyone will play it. The fluff is good, it's like getting the console commands for the universe.

It is the cheat codes for the universe. IT isn't cheating, it's hacks.

So...background wise, are we allowed to make nations, large tracks of land, etc?

Color me interested as well.  I'd like to know if I can belong to a tribe of waterborn orcs forced off their ancestral home bordering water by development.  The forced movement leads to bitter resentment for him and great motivation to curb the further expansion of the city.  Here fill in "city" with "any city that could fit."

map is up, three moving cities arnt on it because we... they move.

Scale is really large and the villages marked on the map are only the more important ones.

removed alchemy for now, doesn't work yet.
Oh well, that frees up some skill points.

Well I was meaning probably a bit more than just villages, but you gave me a plains, I can work with that. Do you want it refered to as the Great Plains or did you have another name? There are atleast some forests around or within it right?

As to the moving cities, do those have a general location each stays in, or do they all travel everywhere, or a set path perhaps?

Steam cuty runs along the mountains at the north, clockwork along the coastal shalows and electro across the plains.

Plains have no forests but the plains is just the area between Baile and the mountains to the north, there are roads that go along the edges (dotted lines) scale on the map is enormous, the great planes are the size of Texas to put it in perspective. there are some large forests between the plains and the desert if you want to base there.

How long have the cities been around?

At the present time, background wise, I have a small nation of halfing living on the plains, dozen or so tribes, is that acceptable or would you perfer something else?

That's fine, The cities were built in order Capital > Crystal > Steam > Clockwork > Electro with electro being built about 50 years before. It is currently on the southernmost edge of the plains and will take a long time to get to the middle.
