Making an AI in 3rd edition

More specifically, can you make an honest-to-god-has-all-the-mental-stats artificial intelligence?
I'm aware of Haunt Shift, but I don't have whatever book it's in, so no luck there.
Maybe something to do with Schism? Is there any way I could dump that split-off mind at a wizard's tower, let's say, go off and adventure, and come back and learn spells from the split mind?

This is more a question of interest, not something I would use in a game, unless it was IC/useful/simple to do (pick 2)

Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.

Psion Sandwich Trick. Look it up. It basically involves True Mind Switching yourself into an inanimate object (in the original version, a sandwich), and I think it uses only XPH.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

There was an offshoot of a commoner railgun thread which involved putting a group of undead (necropolitan?) chokers in a plane where time moves faster, and having them ready two actions per round to pass messages between each other to simulate neurons.

Then there's always psicrystals and any number of other constructs with Int scores.
