More questions to my players:

What do you say we remove the spontaneous caster gimpage, with them getting spells one level late? I know it's very late to propose this, but... it irks me.

What I suggest (and what DOES NOT BECOME A RULE UNTIL WE REACH A CONSENSUS):

Spontaneous casters that gain a new spell level on even levels get one spell known (if a sorc) or their usual list (if a list caster) on the uneven level preceding it. A sorc then gets an additional spell known at the usual even level, but the rest of the progression remains unchanged.
They also get spells per day equal to their next even level number minus 1, mimimum 1, at the uneven level.

Example:
A Sorc gets a second level spell known, and two spells per day, at level 3.

What do you guys say?

I see no reason why not to have they progression match prep, It shouldn't change much. Though I would still probably pick wizard over sorc.

I don't see any problem with it.

(Sorry for delayed absence. upper-division physics courses take up a fair amount of time these days. Still have some lab reports and a take-home mid-term to do)

What is it that you do, Snizor?

Also, I was hoping for a reply from you, since you should benefit from that, too.

I'm ok with it ; never liked that gap.

I'm forced to ask if it applies to Bards as well (no relation with any character of mine... obviously).

Do Bards get their spells at even levels? If so, it applies. However, I would say Bards move there "0" spells per day up one level, and get 1 spell per day on the even level. So I would have to change that rule to

"they get spells per day equal to their next even level number minus one, mimimum 0 (bonus spells). On the usual even level they get their normal number of spells per day, minimum 1."

I don't know, Thistle is the most likely candidate. The others really don't need waiting for.

By the way I'm happy to report that we may not be adding just one, but TWO more players to this campaign. I'm looking forward to them starting presently...

It might be a few more days for me. My laptop's gpu fried itself today, so it all depends on how much I feel like dealing with myth-weavers through my droid or how soon the replacement parts get shipped in as to how soon my character sheet will be up.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

Welcome!

I guess I'm getting to be old-blood now, since Snizor is busier than I am.

So, is Thistledown still playing? Because it seems the action is waiting on him...

I sure as hell hope he's still playing. He hasn't been online for about a week now, but he should have been here before this recent wait started. I'll go PM him as that will hopefully alert him by email, too.
