Wow no Mohrg builds?!  C'mon these guys have to be at least Tier 5.5;  Taken from Libris Mortis these guys have to be the worst of the savage progressions for Undead.  Truly terrible IMO. This build is ECL 20 so we can assume you have a level 20 wizard friend annoyed that you aren't playing something that helps out in battle (or really out of battle you're a Mohrg and you aren't welcome anywhere).

Someday someone will search for a Mohrg build and Yours Truly will have the only one.  Unless someone post one after me...   :mad

  • Endless Zombie Fun; find a small hamlet and kill everyone. Wait 1d4 days.
  • Where do you go from here?  Probably Crusader.
  • If you are forced to play this class with less then 50 point buy; damn man you're on your own.

Proof that eq and feats can make any build viable, regardless of how screwed it is. Heck, even a commoner has better bab!

Note that you do not get lv stat bonuses from racial HD, those are already assumed to be factored into the morhg's existing stat adjustments.

You should apply all the feats from Libris Mortis to the creature. Just so it sucks slightly less.
Tiers explained in 8 sentences. With examples!

By Tome rules they'd be level 9 (11 at most), not level freaking 20.

14+6=20, that's why.  although with LA buyoff, you end up having a single class level.

No you do not even get that as LA buyoff requires class levels, so you do not get any class levels at all.

He needs 18 class levels before he can buy it off.  Remember that racial HD don't count, and even if they did, he would still need 4 more levels to buy off the first point.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

I couldn't find where it says this.  Although I'm sure you're right god forbid they help out poor Mohrg with stat adjustments.

I couldn't find where it says this.  Although I'm sure you're right god forbid they help out poor Mohrg with stat adjustments.

He would have to be ECL 38 before he could buy off his first level adjustment.


So what you're saying is, he'd be perfect for the Iron Siege! I'm too lazy to do the numbers, but I'd bet he actually still runs out of levels by the time he hits ECL 60. If, y'know, buyoff was allowed.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

I don't think you get ability increases from level for racial hit dice.

Anyway, a different take would be to focus the paralyzing tongue:
DC 30 = 10 (base) + 7 (HD/2) + 7 (18+6 charisma) + 2 (ability focus) + 4 (improved paralysis)
With boots of speed you could lick twice per round, improving your odds.

Also, elves might be decent mohrg material, because their con penalty is negated.

I wonder if mohrg is still of his/her original race (e.g. qualifying for dragonmarks could improve versatility)
