Looking for a group of M:tG cards
« on: April 27, 2010, 07:41:38 PM »
Hi.

Are there any cards that can grant a creature persist? Also, are there any creatures that can be tapped for two or more mana (Any color)? Finally, are there any cards that can turn an artifact into a creature?

Preemptive thanks
[spoiler]Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me.
probably over on "Off-topic".
might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post.

This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu".

My final project for my film independent study course. It could do with a watching and critiquing

Don't forget Bloom Tender. I suppose Gemhide Sliver could be mentioned.

For some straight up mana doubling theres Mirari's Wake, Mana Reflection, Doubling Cube and several others. There may be different color versions of Cabal Coffers too.

Updating:

There's a creature with Level Up in Rise of the Eldrazi that taps for more than one mana.

There is a new version of Cabal Coffers, but it works off of Black Creatures in your graveyard instead of Swamps you control. There is also the Magus of the Coffers.

Lord, I must be slipping.
Elvish Archdruid and Priestess of Titania both usually tap for more than one mana. Greenweaver Druid always taps for two.  Rosheen Meanderer taps for 4, but it's limited to X spells, and Metalworker can usually make buckets of colorless mana. And don't forget Roffelos, king of degenerate EDH decks.

If your deck can support an ally subtheme Herebaz Druid or somesuch taps to create mana equal to the number of allies you have in play, which can be a good bit more than 1, and you can choose what color of mana.
