You might be better off with a focused conjurer for a higher evil factor as he could use abrupt jaunt to be basically unkillable for a few rounds.
True, but the problem lies in that Metamagic Spell Focus only works for your focused school (or for a school in which you have spell focus, but that's more feats than a first level character can get, and I typically don't use or allow flaws in my games).
Acid Splash is a conjuration :P
Which is also nice, but can't have Fell drain applied to it.

The one time I did make a focused specialist, it was a focused conjurer, and I enjoyed it. It just doesn't give you auto-negative levels like the evocation can.
Why not? It deals damage on a hit. I see no reason it cannot have Fell Drain applied to it.
Fell drain is a metamagic feat, and requires you to use a higher level slot.  You don't have higher level slots to boost acid splash, as it isn't prepared in a slot. (Yes, you have to have some acid spell in reserve in a slot, but that is not the effect you are producing).
Acid Splash is a 0 level conjuration spell. I'm assuming you are referencing the Reserve Feat "Acidic Splatter". You most certainly prepare 0 level spells.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

You're right, I was mistaking it for the reserve feat.  But, the advantage of sonic snap is that it auto-succeeds.  You can miss with acid splash.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Is sonic snap a conjuration? I was just looking for damage dealing conjurations, and didn't look passed the phb because I'm lazy.

Level 0 Evocation from Spell Compendium.  Deals 1 point of sonic damage (and might deafen the target if they fail a save).
