Ok, granted that's true but where does it state that when anything other than a PC rises in HD it gets a feat?

A Feat, as per PHB is gained when advancing in character level not HD, the glossary defines HD as "a measure of relative power is synonymous with character level for the sake of spells, magic items and magical effects that affect a certain number of hit dice of creatures"

While looking this up i think i found the passage upon which this is based, basically:

Quote
Feat Acquisition and Ability Score Increases

A monster’s total Hit Dice, not its ECL, govern its acquisition of feats and ability score increases.

Although most of this paragraph (Monsters as Races) seems to be intending that there is at least 1 class level present it doen't literally mention this.

So i suppose it could work for the Psicrystal strictly RAW...

EDIT: calling people anal because they ask an explanation to iffy rulings is not nice ;)

Actually, I was sort of calling myself anal in a roundabout way. As in, 'If you want to get anal, here's my reading, because this reading is anal'.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

Sorry I didn't include the other part. Anything with HD gets Feats, as long as it's not mindless. Here's the relevant entry:

Quote from: Monster Feats
The line gives the creature’s feats. A monster gains feats just as a character does. Sometimes a creature has one or more bonus feats, marked with a superscript B (B). Creatures often do not have the prerequisites for a bonus feat. If this is so, the creature can still use the feat. If you wish to customize the creature with new feats, you can reassign its other feats, but not its bonus feats. A creature cannot have a feat that is not a bonus feat unless it has the feat’s prerequisites.

Funny thing about racial/monster HD BAB? It continues unimpeded into epic, unlike creatures with character classes.

Thus, a 60th level psicrystal has a Base Attack Bonus of +45, and can thus make attacks at +45/+39/+33/+27/+21/+15/+9/+3.

I dare anyone to find a hole in that logic.

Fixed that for you.  MM1 states that the iteritive attacks are capped at 4.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

But that little bit of info does make the big guy is with me builds more viable in epic, which is kind of neat.

This thread made me buy Complete Psionic and Magic of Eberron.  I never expected MoE to be only $2.07 plus $3.99 shipping!

Thank you Jesus!  You other thread members get props, too!

Wow, that's cheap. Where are you buying the books?
Outlook books or Amazon, looks like

err ... you still wasted your money on CPsi  :D

I gotta get me that MoE though, and at that price!

Also fixing the PP to DC ratio on a lot of powers' augments.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Energy missile was just fine. It's not like magic doesn't have no-save force damage. At least with energy missile you could make a nat 20.

Also, CPsi introduced more powers with +1 DC/PP, so...

Might want to add Anarchic Initiate there, Lycanthromancer.  And Synchronity (which wouldn't be that great if it weren't for Linked Power, but I disgress).

Temporal Reiteration and Practiced Manifester too, which fix the Metamind. Pick Ardent base for 9th level powers.

I got weenie-filtered off of this because the word " L a n a " happened twice. Ugh.
But I can post ... double weird.
