For Shades Action when time comes if it is appropriate to the situation.....

Shade watches as Glim and Toshi maneuver on the thief considering his best course of action to stop the thief without killing him.  Quickly he settles on talking and casts Glibness.

"Alright you fool thief, best for you if you return what you've stolen and preserve your life.  Persist in this folly and I am sure that purse will do you no good."

Bluff Check:1d20+37=57  WOW!!

Heh, so you now truly understand the awesome power of Glibness. :D

Oh, I've known it but just didn't expect the 20 on the roll too (not that it would be needed).

I've used it some in a tabletop game where I'm Beguiling too and so far and resisted the urge to use it tons to win encounters.

Hmm...that spell looks like it would be a nice addition to my bluff score. Now what is the quickest way to get 45k gold... :smirk

Why, with a hugely exaggerated bluff score, methinks. :P

am I the only one that can't get stupidly high results on his skill checks?
there is roughly a 99% chance that this post is an obscure reference to SOMETHING.

keep in mind that his +37 modifier includes +30 from one spell.

Don't worry my character can't pull that off either.

My highest bonus is +20, but that's only thanks to some warlock invocation bonuses. Of course, it's widely known that skills are the easiest things to get huge bonuses on.

Are they trying to say that the only way, there is no other way, to get to their handler besides traveling through tunnels? I understand that they wouldn't normally bring anyone through a cover entrance. But that is what the Cha check was for, to force a charmed person to do something they normally wouldn't do.

well, we'll split the total gold down the middle (I did the math, we got about 1988.5gp total, so 994gp 2sp and 5cp each) and you'll analyze the rest of the stuff to see if it can do anything worthwhile(you CAN do that, right?) which we'll divide base on who can get more use out of them, if someone (likely me) gets shafted by whatever the magic items turn out to be, then that person will recieve a bigger share of the hard cash, which we will negotiate, sound fair?

Sounds good. I think I've got an idea of what the belt is, but we'll see. Too bad the wands are broken, though. :)

The Warlock's Detect Magic at-will plus an artificer's monocle lets me identify items, so yes. :)

I'm kinda dissapointed that you can, yelling "then you are useless to me!" is always good fun. Also, sorry bout the wands, when you use leap attack, you tend to get a bit overzealous in your attacks...
