Free Heritage Feats
« on: April 18, 2010, 10:03:02 PM »
So, in the process of the creating a world, I've begun entertain the idea of taint and sanity and thinking about giving bonus aberration heritage feats based off of taint -- irregardless of the characters in question are actually humanoids or not. I'd probably expand the taint categories to five ... Iunno how that'd work.

I don't see any problems with this considering the aberrant heritage feats aren't really anything to write home about.

I've considered something similar actually. Thinking of a campaign where each character got to choose a lineage (abberant, draconic, abyssal, etc) and would get bonus feats along those lines as they leveled up.

So, you're with me in the opinion that it would be a nice perk but not overly powerful?

Yeah, not too powerful at all.

The heritage feats are not really all that good but this looks like it would be a nice source of flavor.
