Wraithstrike as a 3rd level spell
« on: April 13, 2010, 04:46:20 PM »
So, my Beguiler 6/ Shadow Adept 1 is about to level and get Advanced Learning.  My DM is allowing use of the Warmage ACF Eclectic Learning which is pretty damn cool. (Thanks BK)

I'm considering taking Wraith Strike as a 3rd level Spell to help with melee in a pinch likely to be combined in time with Arcane Strike.

I'm of course also considering the VERY obvious Shadow Conjuration choice as well but should be able to get that access through Rod of Shadowblending (3/d Shadow Conj or Evo).

I'm really looking to beef up my melee a bit while avoiding the wonderful temptation of going Swiftblade...

I believe you have to take it one level higher with the Eclectic Learning.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Correct, thus would be 3rd level for my Beguiler.    Certainly wouldn't turn him into a beatstick but would make his BAB mostly a non-issue I think.

Who knows... DM might even let me get a Divine Power x/d item :)
