Yeah, I'll probably be either the healer/divine utility or just plain utility, depending on what we need. Does anyone have a distinct preference for which I choose?

Pretty much just stats. I think you said level 6, right?

So far it's ECL 6 unless there are any reasons why it shouldnt be.

I'd prefer 28 point buy so no one gets fubared on the roll honestly, but m waiting to see how people weigh in on rolling/point buy.

Jojo: Are you fixed on teh Ghost?  Im worried that the incorporeality could make things a little weird.  I'd need incorporeal foes or caster to affect you at all, and if your opponent is incorporeal the rest of the group might not be able to aid you.
Sorry for the slow response.
Spells & Magic weapons still get a 50% chance to hit me so you don't need that many incorporeal foes.

So do you wish to be a human ghost?

Hmm... I'm most likely going to be an Awakened Cat...

1 Cat Burglar (Awakened Cat Racial Substitution)
5 Wizard (probably some domain wizard variant or straight up enchanter/necromancer)

Also, would I be required to take a Natural Spell or something so I could cast spells? or are we going to assume I find some way to complete the somatic components?

EDIT: I'd be working toward Bakeneko if we ever got that far...

House rule is that nonhumanoid critters learn somatic and verbal components geared towards their species own abilities.

As for my character, I'm going to go chaos monk, maybe with a sladd bloodline.
As for base race I'm thinking human, unless you show me the stats for some of those other races mentioned in quote #1.
[/quote]

Thats an awful lotta races.  Any of them in particular you're interested in?

I don't think that we're going to have any other divine casters at all.

Both are fine by me.

I'm thinking of a mostly rogue, limited caster type.  Hows about:

rogue 4/beguiler 1/mindbender 1 (I promise I won't take Mindsight :P).  This works so long as Practiced Spellcaster fulfills the MB prereq of "Arcane caster level 5th".

After that point, I was thinking about possibly taking Unseen Seer; not so much because this guy's a divination specialist, but because I wanted my jester guy to have a bit of casting without being a primary caster.  Basically, I wanted him to be able to do more than just throw acid pies in pies in people's faces.  I may or may not take a level of Thief Acrobat just to get some of the cool acrobatic stuff I picture a jester doing.

How does all of that sound, Bhu?

As far as race, I'll probably be a human, but I might consider a small race like halfling or goblin for shiggles.

Awesome  :lol

Human Cat Burgler 2/Bard 1/Warblade 2/Barbarian(Lion) 1 with Battle Jump alright?  :D though I'm one level short of doing what I want to really I'm sure it can't take that long to level up. (Katgrrl form has level 7 required, is this 7 Cat burglar levels or just level 7 ECL?)  also I cant figure out if preform(dance) is valid for bardic music...

So far it's ECL 6 unless there are any reasons why it shouldnt be.

I like point buy more than rolling myself, I always feel cheated by rolling for stats.

I Must Shout My Love From the Fencepost Wall.
Your Bard and Cat Burglar levels stack for determining how many Kitty Form Enhancements you get.

Is this Enhanced Kitty form or enhancements to Kitty form, the latter would help but in either case it might need clarification.
basically does Cat Burglar 2/Barbarian 1/Bard 1 count as level 4 for kitty form (2 forms) or 3 for kitty form and 3 for Enhanced Kitty form if they have that and tomcat?

Sounds like we've got most votes for 28 pb, so I'll use that to figure out stats for now.

I've got it all here, but I'll post for simplicity.

Human*, Samurai 6, Lawful Neutral.
Feats:
(1)Quick Draw,
(1: Human)Quick Cut,
(1: Flaw)Improved Initiative,
(1: Flaw)Combat Reflexes,
(3)Power Attack,
(4: Samurai bonus feat)Eyes in the Back of Your Head,
(5: Samurai set bonus) Indomitable Soul,
(6) Combat Intuition

*(might change - would maybe lose a feat for dex/cha or cha/wis)

This build also assumes flaws, which I do believe I forgot to ask about. Flaws would be Inattentive and Shaky, unless other flaws are allowed, in which case I might get creative. It also has no wbl purchased items, since that would be silly... unless someone was going to buy some grafts, in which case I guess..... I'm probably gonna be able to take all my gear off, so no...

Can you apply more than one Enhanced Kitty Form to your kitty form?

In the old version of Cat Burglar this still let you get all three sizes of Kitty Form.  In the New one this refers to the Enhanced Kitty Form ability.  In your example you would effectively be a level 3 CB (2 levels CB and 1 Bard) for purposes of how many benefits you get from Enhanced Kitty Form.

I can't believe i forgot to clarify that in the class...

Would multiples be too powerful do you think?

Time for Nanshork's build (be sure to include which version of Cat Burglar).

I decided to go Favored Soul instead of Spirit Shaman; I'm more familiar with the cleric spell list. However, that does mean I'll need to see the pantheon in this world.

Venerable Dragonwrought Desert Kobold (I love the idea of an old, old kobold grandma walking around in a kitten form, but will gladly change this if requested)
Cat Burglar 1: Dragonwrought
Favored Soul 1
Favored Soul 2: Purrsnuggles
Favored Soul 3
Favored Soul 4
Vet 1: Dynamic Priest (if allowed)

I also want to know whether flaws are allowed. If so, say hello to the short-sighted, hard-of-hearing old kobold grandma!
