Cleric and/or Druid
« on: March 31, 2010, 05:05:42 PM »
I am about to join a game using Savage Tide campaign. We are allowed to use most books, especially Stormwrack. I am think of playing a Shoal Halfling Cleric/Druid multiclass character. I will start at about 6th level, with a 32 point buy. We are using primarily greyhawk dieties, and maybe some non-world specefic dieteis from Stormwrack (like Whale Mother).

Any recommendations, ideas, hats, etc.? Does anyone know of a Druid/Cleric PrC?

The only way to multiclass druid and cleric is to take a single level of cleric (preferably cloistered) for the domains (which you might exchange for Devotion feats) and Turn/Rebuke Undead (which you use to fuel Divine Metamagic). Other than that, forget about it as you're only gimping yourself.

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

I wish there was an UM for Divine. And Ur Priest didn't kill other Divine.

A Favored Soul who was stealing power from his benefactor is a pretty neat character hook.

That...seems kind of contradictory to me...  =\

It sort of puts a deity in the position of the senile old man who only thinks the best of his son who's actively usurping the kingdom from him and more or less ruling in his stead.

Which is, well, sort of an unrealistic role for a deity to play.

Which is, well, sort of completely in keeping with numerous mythologies an unrealistic role for a deity to play.

Andras was the elf that betrayed both good and evil.  I think you mean Andromilus.

Oddly, flavor-wise that is perfect.  You could only get away with it with a god of thieves, but damn.  Proving you are most worthy of your diety's favor by stealing power from him is completely made of win.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!
