Correct. You take 1d6 immediately, and if you don't extinguish the flames, you are on fire.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Bumping

Q 193 If an NPC helps the party, with NPC classes, I know their CR is half, but what about their ECL? Is it the math done up the same, or are they considered 1 ECL per class? Like a warrior 3 helps a 3rd level party. Are they all ECL 3 when it comes time to do up exp?

A 193: By the book, Yes, a Warrior 3 is ECL 3 even if his CR is 1 1/2. While giving an NPC exp. is fine, I personally wouldn't count a single NPC against the players' reward (and thus 'steal their experience'), since then you're almost investing in something that will either never show again or die very quickly anyway.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

The NPC is actually a part of the party. Like they treat him well. They don't sacrifice him, or make him go in first to see if the traps are an issue. He'll level up around the same time as the others do, but I was looking because he'll steal a little bit, but only because they need help. If he's there, he gets it. If he's there but not needed, he'll hold back until they call him in.

I actually got the idea from my Friday DM. Having an NPC part of the party gives you that one character who's able to do whatever the rest of the party can't. In this case, he's an arcane user. We have everything else present. He'll be a magewright/warrior.

Alrighty. Though perhaps when diving Exp. you ought to count him as "half a player", if you have a calculator to make that easy.

There are some in Races of the Wild as well.  Serpentstounge arrows, for example, cost 3gp per 20 and deal slashing and piercing damage.
Hmm... I really should make a MotUH build that abuses chain telekinesis and poisoned vorpal serpentstongue arrows... getting reliable crit confirmation would probably be the hardest part.

Prestige Paladin + Bless Weapon.

Fair enough.
Yeah, I found the one on Pen and Paper.

A195
The Rapid Spell feat (CDiv).
If you want to be able to do it spontaneously, then you'll also need the Rapid Metamagic feat (CMage).

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

There's a ToB stance (Press the Attack, 5th level White Raven), levels in Elocator, and...crap, one other method.

Also, a Chronocharm of the Uncaring Archmage lets you cast one full-round action spell as a standard action every day for 500 gp, and you can load up on them.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

Arms and Equipment Guide.
Also Oriental Adventures lets you make a 10 ft step if you make a dc 40 tumble check.

Q198: What is the name of the psionic power that switches (either (Su) or (Ex) abilities, cant remember which) between two characters, and what is the source?

I remember reading about a power that allows you to switch either Su or Ex abilities between two beings, they trade Su or Ex abilities permanently, and if one doesnt have an ability to trade they lose a level instead. However i cant remember what the power is called for the life of me, or where i saw it.

If I say something about real world physics, and someone disagrees, assume I am right 90% of the time. This number goes up to 100% if I am late night posting - trust me, my star dust sibs.

Reading the fluff for some Planescape stuff (and one path of conversation in FFG's dialog in Torment) mentions that fiends have a physical aversion to using items of the material their damage resistance is bypassed by (Silver vulnerable fiends don't like silver coins, FFG mentions that steel weapons are bad for her after extended contact because she is weak to cold iron). Is this ever carried over to 3.0 or 3.5, or can it be ignored?

Not carried over for normal things... I think there's a flaw which gives you that, though.

I think Elocater does that, also.
