Q 164 Is there a list of "absolutely must have" wizard spells somewhere? I saw the iconic ones, but I'm thinking more along the lines of "If you're wizard, and you DON'T have this, you're doing it wrong." The wizard handbook that I found isn't helping too much in that department.

There aren't any spells you absolutely have to have, but there are a lot that you really ought to take. A good suggestion is to go through Treantmonklvl20's guide. In particular, the guides for each school of spells gives a lot of useful detail.
also, don't ever ban conjuration(unless you are a core only wizard who banned conjuration and transmutation for the sole purpose of showing up giacomo. gods how that makes me laugh).

I don't know what you're talking about. Divination is the workhorse of the Wizard spell list. AND YOU CAN'T BAN IT! Genius.
reread this please.  :D

and I'm talking about the "Test of Spite: The Monkening" where giacomo tries to prove his method of making a monk works(it doesn't he pretty much fails).
I do not suffer from paranoia; I enjoy every second of it.

Q166
If my druid shapes in to a medium viper (or a fleshraker, for that matter), does the poison DC get based off the base animal's HD, or my HD?  (I'm assuming my HD, but I'm trying to make sure for when my DM makes an issue of it)

Q167
Does Power Attack apply to Rend?

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

yes.... notice:
Benefit: On your action, before making attack rolls for a round, you may choose to subtract a number from all melee attack rolls and add the same number to all melee damage rolls.

Monk 20 can be useful, you just need that ACF from the Tome of Battle   :lmao

ACF? Alternate Class Feature? You talking about the swordsage? I don't know. I would have liked it more if they had an unarmored bonus progression as well.

Q 168 Is there an INT-based class other than swashbuckler and factotum that can be optimized, that's NOT a spellcaster?

If Swashbuckler counts as Int-based, Warblade.

I hate being a nit-picker, but I specifically skipped 165 because 163 was used twice (meaning that the second one should have been 164; 164 should have been 165).
next one should now be 169.

that is all.  sorry for the persnicketiness. 0:)

Noted.
Of course, I'm not sure an apology was needed -- I just had a little OCD hit me. ;)

Fair enough. Doesn't mean I shouldn't still be careful.

Q 169 What's better. Going Bard/ToB class, or going strictly bard and taking Martial Study, in order to get the Song of the White Raven? If the former, what works best with Bard, and is Jade Pheonix worth it?

I think Bard X/Crusader 2/JPM would be great. I forget how many levels of bard it would take to get in, but that's what X is. :P Of course... as with almost all bard builds, adding Sublime Chord would make it even better.  :D

Hmm... Bard4/Ftr1/Spellsword 5 is a fun entry for Sublime Chord. I wonder if we can replace Ftr with Crusader or Warblade and combine that with JPM and make it optimal...

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
