Q132 A domain gets Lightning. I believe it is in a Dragon Mag. Does anyone recall which domain it is?

Re: Q132
Lightning what? ???

Storm Domain has Call Lightning and Lightning Storm.
Weather Domain has Call Lightning
Air Domain gets Chain Lightning
Celestial Domain gets Heavenly Lightning (Storm)
Drow Domain has...Lightning Reflexes?
Lightning Bolt.

I swear, leaving attachments out of work emails, leaving words out of posts. I just need to go back on vacation. I've been batting 1.000 since coming back from time off friday :(

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.

Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne

Q133: Mettle vs The Karmic Chain

If one guy has Karmic Retribution & Karmic Backlash going and a guy with mettle attacked and made his save vs Retribution, would he ignore Backlash or be forced to save against that as well?

He has to save against all of them as each spell applies separately. The benefit from having more than one of the spells up is simply that you get no save for the lower level spells if you fail the highest level one. Even if you succeed on the highest save you still have to save vs the lower level spells in the chain.

Q 134: Does the spymaster's Deep Cover ability grant him protection against True Seeing, since True Seeing is a Divination spell?
Deep Cover (Ex): At 7th level, a spymaster becomes
able to quiet her mind and completely immerse herself in
her cover identity. While she operates under deep cover,
divination spells detect only information appropriate to
her cover identity; they reveal nothing relating to her
spymaster persona.
If not, are there any ways for a Doppleganger to gain "immunity" from True Seeing by ECL 17?

by RAW, deep cover completely fucks over true seeing.   :lol

A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

General of Undeath + Command Undead? I do not believe you can Hivemind undead via darkspeech, or that would be an easy one...

Q82: Could a wizard duplicate Wings of Flurry with a casting of (Greater) Shadow Evocation? It's on the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list...Sort of.
A82: no, since his spell list and the shadow evocation mimic list are the same. it's the same reason he can't scribe it.  a SCM could do it, of course... but that holds true for just about everything.
I really don't think this is correct. Answer really seems to be yes, to me, and there's absolutely no difference between a Wizard and a SCM in this, excepting a SCM does it better.

This spell functions like shadow evocation, except that it enables you to create partially real, illusory versions of sorcerer or wizard evocation spells of 7th level or lower. If recognized as a greater shadow evocation, a damaging spell deals only three-fifths (60%) damage.

Seems pretty solid to me

Q 136 In A&E there's a set of ear plugs for a few gold that gives you -4 to your hearing checks. What exactly can that protect you from? Sonic attacks? Compulsions and enchantments? Blasphemy?

I'd wager it's against [Language-dependent] and some [Sonic] (but only those that care if you hear them), and yes, a Wail of the Banshee and Blasphemy, too.

Q137: Is there any way to not fail an attack on a natural 1? It would be best if this was granted via a passive/continuous ability or a spell with a long duration.
If I say something about real world physics, and someone disagrees, assume I am right 90% of the time. This number goes up to 100% if I am late night posting - trust me, my star dust sibs.

Well, if the amount is based on CL, you could always pump it up to ridiculous proportions via Master Spellthief.

A Persistent Choose Destiny is not easy to get, but it'd mostly fix this issue, and it's also a wonderful buff.
